Properties
The ethylene absorber absorbs ethylene.
This stops foods that are sensitive to
ethylene from spoiling as quickly. This
keeps the food fresh for longer.
Note:
Ethylene is a gaseous plant hormone that
is given off by certain foods. This acceler-
ates a variety of food spoiling processes.
Examples of reactions to ethylene in
fruit and vegetables:
– Faster ripening and aging processes
– Softening and changes in texture
– Discoloration and browning reactions
– Changes in flavor and tasting off

Installing and activating the timer
1. Flip open the housing at the notch.
2. Flip open the lid.
3. Insert the timer into the front of the
housing with the status display
facing out.
4. Close the lid until it snaps shut.
5. Press in the timer knob. The timer is
now activated for 6 months.

First steps
1. Remove the contents from the
package.
2. Clean the housing with a soft cloth,
lukewarm water and a little
pH-neutral washing-up liquid.
Note:
The housing is not suitable for
cleaning in a dishwasher.

Apply adhesive strip
1. Remove the protective film from one
side of the adhesive strip and stick it in
the pre-fitted holder.
2. Remove the protective film from the
other side of the adhesive strip.
Note:
The ethylene absorber is now ready
for use.

Inserting the sachets
Note:
Do not open the sachets.
1. Take both sachets out of the packaging.
2. Insert both sachets into the relevant
holders on the rear of the housing.
3. Close the housing until it snaps shut.

The status display of the timer shows
how long it has been active:
1. Bar = 2 months
2. Bar = 4 months
3. Bar = 6 months – replace parts
Note:
The status display changes from
white to red.

Securing the ethylene absorber
Secure the ethylene absorber to the side
at the top of the vegetable container.
Note:
– To make installation easier, take out
the container.
– The surface of the container must
be clean and dry.
– The ethylene absorber must not come
into contact with the lid or the bottom
of the container.
– The notch on the housing must
point upwards.
– Check for secure attachment regularly
and correct if necessary.
Etilen emiciyi sabitleme
Etilen emiciyi Sebze Çekmecesi bölmesi-
nin üst kısmında yan tarafına sabitleyin.
Not:
– Daha kolay takmak için bölmeyi çıkarın.
– Bölmenin yüzeyi temiz ve kuru olmalıdır.
– Etilen emici, bölmenin kapağına veya
tabanına temas etmemelidir.
– Gövde üzerindeki çentik yukarı bak-
malıdır.
– Düzenli aralıklarla sabit durup durmadı-
ğını kontrol edin ve gerekiyorsa düzeltin.

Replacing the timer and sachets
The sachets and the timer must be re-
placed every six months after activation.
Note: Dispose of contents/container to
hazardous or special waste collection
point.
1. Take the housing out of the holder.
2. Take the spent sachets and spent timer
out of the housing and dispose of
them according to the environmental
regulations.
3. Install and activate the new
timer as described in step
2
.
4. Insert the new sachets as
described in step
3
.
5. Insert the housing back in the holder.

Devreye alındıktan sonra torbaların ve
zamanlayıcının her altı ayda bir değiştiril-
mesi gerekir.
Not: İçeriği/kabı ulusal yönetmeliklere
göre bertaraf edin.
