Anwendung

Dieser Infrarotstrahler ist nur für die Bestrahlung des menschlichen Körpers vorgesehen.

Durch Bestrahlung mit Infrarotlicht wird Wärme an den Menschen transportiert. Die bestrahlte Haut wird verstärkt

durchblutet und der Stoffwechselumsatz im Temperaturfeld erhöht. Der Körper wird durch die Wirkungsweise

des Infrarotlichts zur Heilung angeregt; Heilprozesse können gezielt unterstützt werden.

Infrarotlicht kann, z.B. eingesetzt werden als begleitende Therapie bei der Behandlung von Hals-Nasen-Ohren

Erkrankungen sowie zur Unterstützung der Gesichts- und Schönheitspflege, insbesondere bei unreiner Haut.

Fragen Sie aber zunächst Ihren Hausarzt, ob die Anwendung im Einzelfall medizinisch sinnvoll ist.

Warnung

• Diese Infrarotlampe ist nur für die Bestrahlung des menschlichen Körpers vorgesehen.

• Verwenden Sie während der Anwendung stets die beiliegende Schutzbrille.

• Vor dem Gebrauch ist sicherzustellen, dass das Gerät und Zubehör keine sichtbaren Schäden aufweisen

und jegliches Verpackungsmaterial entfernt wird. Benutzen Sie es im Zweifelsfall nicht und wenden Sie

sich an Ihren Händler oder an die angegebene Kundendienstadresse.

• Achten Sie stets auf einen sicheren und ebenen Stand Ihres Gerätes.

• Das Gehäuse der Infrarotlampe und der Infrarotstrahler erwärmt sich stark im Betrieb. Bei Berührung

besteht Verbrennungsgefahr! Die Infrarotlampe vor dem Berühren immer erst abkühlen lassen.

• Der einzuhaltende Abstand von brennbaren Gegenständen zur Infrarotlampe beträgt mindestens 1,0 m.

Hängen Sie das Gerät nicht an die Wand oder an die Decke.

• Das Gerät darf nur an die auf dem Typschild angegebene Netzspannung angeschlossen werden.

• Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser und verwenden Sie es nicht in Nassräumen.

• Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (einschließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränkten phy-

sischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangels Erfahrung und/oder mangels Wissen

benutzt zu werden, es sei denn, sie werden durch eine für Ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person beaufsichtigt

oder erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist.

• Nicht bei Babys und Kleinkindern anwenden.

• Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, damit sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

• Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt an Wickelkommoden, Babybetten oder ähnlichem angewendet zu

werden.

• Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.

• Nicht bei wärmeunempfindlichen Personen anwenden.

Das Wärmeempfinden kann in den folgenden Fällen eingeschränkt oder erhöht sein:

― bei diabetischen Patienten,

― bei Personen mit Schläfrigkeit, Demenz, oder Konzentrationsstörungen,

― bei Personen mit krankheitsbedingten Hautveränderungen,

― bei Personen mit vernarbten Hautarealen im Anwendungsgebiet,

― bei Personen mit Allergien,

― bei Kindern und älteren Personen,

― nach der Einnahme von Medikamenten oder Alkohol.

• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht, wenn Sie Träger eines Implantats sind, besonders, wenn sich dieses im Be-

reich der zu behandelnden Körperpartie befindet. Konsultieren Sie im Zweifelsfall Ihren Arzt.

• Wenn Sie schwanger sind, betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe Ihres Unterleibs, um Überhitzung in

diesem Bereich zu vermeiden. Konsultieren Sie im Zweifelsfall Ihren Arzt.

• Bei akut entzündlichen Prozessen sollte eine Bestrahlung erst nach Rücksprache mit einem Arzt durchge-

führt werden.

Operating Storage/Tr ansport

• Begrenzen Sie immer die Anwendungsdauer und kontrollieren Sie die Reaktion der Haut.

• Medikamente, Kosmetika oder Nahrungsmittel können unter Umständen zu einer überempfindlichen oder

allergischen Reaktion der Haut führen. Die Bestrahlung ist in diesem Fall umgehend zu beenden.

• Betreiben Sie die Infrarotlampe nur in einem solchen Abstand zu Ihrem gewünschten Bestrahlungsgebiet,

dass während der Behandlung keine Hautirritationen, wie Kribbeln, Jucken, Brennen oder zu hohes Wär-

meempfinden zu spüren sind. In diesem Falle brechen Sie die Behandlung ab. Alternativ vergrößern Sie

den Bestrahlungsabstand und/oder verkürzen die Bestrahlungsdauer.

• Dieses Gerät ist nicht für eine Bestrahlung von oben bestimmt.

• Unterschreiten Sie nicht die in dieser Anleitung genannten Mindestabstände.

• Niemals während einer Bestrahlung einschlafen!

• Allzulange Anwendung kann zu Hautverbrennung führen.

• Den Infrarotstrahler

nicht anfassen oder herausschrauben, wenn die Netzleitung eingesteckt ist.

• Kinder erkennen die Gefahren, die in Verbindung mit Elektrogeräten entstehen, nicht. Sorgen Sie dafür,

dass das Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt von Kindern benützt werden kann.

• Das Gerät darf nur unter Aufsicht betrieben werden.

• Halten Sie Kinder vom Verpackungsmaterial fern (Erstickungsgefahr!).

• Das Gerät darf im erwärmten Zustand nicht ab- oder zugedeckt oder verpackt aufbewahrt werden.

• Ziehen Sie stets den Netzstecker und lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen, ehe Sie es anfassen.

• Das Gerät darf im angeschlossenen Zustand nicht mit feuchten Händen angefasst werden; es darf kein

Wasser auf das Gerät spritzen. Das Gerät darf nur im vollständig trockenen Zustand betrieben werden.

• Schützen Sie das Gerät vor stärkeren Stößen. Dazu gehört auch das unsanfte Aufstellen.

• Den Netzstecker nicht an der Netzleitung aus der Steckdose herausziehen.

• Im Falle von Defekten oder Betriebsstörungen trennen Sie das Gerät sofort vom Stromanschluss.

• Wenn die Netzleitung des Gerätes beschädigt ist, muss diese durch den Hersteller oder eine autorisierte

Kundendienststelle ersetzt werden, um Verletzungen zu vermeiden.

• Die Trennung vom Versorgungsnetz ist nur gewährleistet, wenn der Netzstecker aus der Steckdose gezogen ist.

• Bei Babys und Kindern besteht die Gefahr einer Strangulation durch Einwickeln in der Netzleitung.

Allgemeine Hinweise

Achtung

• Produkt ist nicht zur Raumbeleuchtung im Haushalt geeignet.

• Dieses Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen oder klinischen Gebrauch bestimmt, sondern ausschließlich

zur Eigenanwendung im privaten Haushalt!

• Bei gesundheitlichen Bedenken irgendwelcher Art konsultieren Sie Ihren Hausarzt!

• Vor Gebrauch des Gerätes ist jegliches Verpackungsmaterial zu entfernen.

• Leuchtmittel sind von der Garantie ausgenommen.

• Sie dürfen das Gerät nicht öffnen. Bitte versuchen Sie das Gerät nicht selbst zu reparieren.

Hierbei könnten

Aufstellen

Entnehmen Sie das Gerät der Verpackung. Entfernen Sie vor Gebrauch des Gerätes alle Verpackungsmaterialien.

Kontrollieren Sie vor Gebrauch, ob der Infrarotstrahler vollständig eingeschraubt ist. Stellen Sie es auf einer ebe-

nen Fläche auf. Das Gerät hat einen verstellbaren Lampenschirm. Stellen Sie die Neigung des Leuchtschirmes

nach Ihren individuellen Bedürfnissen ein.

Netzanschluss

Das Gerät nur an die auf dem Typschild angegebene Netzspannung anschließen.

Hinweis:

• Achten Sie darauf, dass sich eine Steckdose in der Nähe des Aufstellplatzes befindet.

• Verlegen Sie das Netzkabel so, dass niemand darüber stolpern kann.

6. Bedienung

1Lampe einschalten

 Zur Netzverbindung den Stecker vollständig in die Steckdose stecken. Nach dem Einstecken blinkt

die „5 min“ LED. Hierbei handelt es sich um die Bereitschaftsanzeige (Stand-By). Drücken Sie die Ein/

Aus-Taste (4) einmalig um die Infrarotlampe einzuschalten.

2Licht genießen

Die empfohlene Behandlungsdauer beträgt max. 15 Minuten und sollte auf max. zwei Behandlungen

täglich beschränkt sein. Zu Beginn empfehlen wir eine kürzere Bestrahlungsdauer zu wählen. Die Haut

einzelner Menschen kann jedoch auch bei korrekter Anwendung des Gerätes auf die Wärmebestrahlung

überempfindlich (z.B. starke Rötung, Blasenbildung, Juckreiz, starkes Schwitzen) oder allergisch reagie-

ren. Stellt sich nach 6 bis 8 Anwendungen keine Linderung der Beschwerden ein, benutzen Sie das Gerät

nicht weiter, und konsultieren Sie Ihren Arzt.

3 LED-Anzeige/Timer

Die Infrarotlampe IL 35 zeigt Ihnen Ihre aktuelle Behandlungsdauer mit Hilfe von 3 LEDs an.

Die Behandlungszeit kann in den folgenden 3 Stufen eingestellt werden.

Um den Timer durchzuschalten, drücken Sie die Ein/Aus-Taste (4), bis die gewünschte Timerzeit leuchtet.

Die Zeiten stellen sich wie folgt dar:

Nach Ablauf der eingestellten Anwendungszeit schaltet sich die Lampe automatisch ab. Um die Infra-

rotlampe vorzeitig manuell auszuschalten, drücken Sie ein oder mehrmals die Ein/Aus-Taste (4) bis nur

noch die LED „5 min“ blinkt, die anderen LEDs aus sind und der Strahler erlischt.

4Worauf sollten Sie achten

Der Abstand zwischen Infrarotstrahler und dem bestrahlten Körperteil sollte folgende Werte nicht unter-

schreiten: mindestens 80 cm

Verwenden Sie während der Anwendung stets die beiliegende Schutzbrille. Die Schutzbrille entspricht

den Anforderungen der EN 171:2002 und dient zum Schutz der Augen.

ACHTUNG: Blicken Sie niemals ohne Schutzbrille direkt in das Infrarotlicht.

Grundsätzlich gilt:

Kontrollieren Sie regelmäßig die bestrahlte Körperstelle. Beenden Sie bei Anzeichen von Überempfind-

lichkeit oder allergischer Reaktion umgehend die Bestrahlung und konsultieren Sie einen Arzt.

5Infrarotlampe ausschalten

ACHTUNG!

Die Infrarotlampe ist nach dem Gebrauch heiß. Lassen Sie die Infrarotlampe zuerst lange genug abküh-

len bevor Sie diese aufräumen und / oder verpacken!

Bitte beachten Sie, die Netzleitung darf nicht zur Aufbewahrung oder im Betrieb um die Infrarotlampe

gewickelt werden!

Den Netzstecker nach Gebrauch aus der Steckdose ziehen, um das Gerät vollständig auszuschalten.

7. Auswechseln des Infrarotstrahlers

Vor jeder Reinigung und beim Auswechseln des Infrarotstrahlers muß das Gerät ausgeschaltet, vom Netz ge-

trennt und abgekühlt sein.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass als Ersatz nur Infrarotstrahler des originalen Typs verwendet werden dürfen.

Warnung

• Den Infrarotstrahler nicht anfassen oder herausschrauben wenn die Netzleitung eingesteckt ist.

• Stecken Sie das Gerät aus, um die Gefahr eines Stromschlages zu vermeiden.

• Im Interesse des Umweltschutzes darf das Gerät nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden.

8. Gerät reinigen und pflegen

Von Zeit zu Zeit sollte das Gerät gereinigt werden.

Achtung

Zur Vermeidung von Geruchsbildung durch Fusseln und Staub empfehlen wir eine regelmäßige Reinigung

des Gerätes wie folgt vorzunehmen:

• Vor jeder Reinigung und beim Auswechseln des Infrarotstrahlers muß das Gerät ausgeschaltet, der Netz-

stecker gezogen und abgekühlt sein.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser in das Geräteinnere gelangt!

• Gerät nicht in der Spülmaschine reinigen!

Benutzen Sie zur Reinigung ein feuchtes Tuch, auf das Sie bei Bedarf etwas Spülmittel auftragen können.

• Benutzen Sie keine scharfen Reinigungsmittel und halten Sie das Gerät niemals unter Wasser.

Das Gerät darf im angeschlossenen Zustand nicht mit feuchten Händen angefasst werden; es darf kein

Wasser auf das Gerät spritzen.

• Das Gerät darf nur im vollständig trockenen Zustand betrieben werden.

9. Entsorgen

Im Interesse des Umweltschutzes darf das Gerät am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt

werden.

Die Entsorgung kann über entsprechende Sammelstellen in Ihrem Land erfolgen. Entsorgen Sie das Gerät ge-

mäß der Elektro- und Elektronik Altgeräte EG-Richtlinie – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Bei Rückfragen wenden Sie sich an die für die Entsorgung zuständige kommunale Behörde.

Application

This infrared lamp is only intended for radiating the human body.

Infrared radiation causes warmth to be transported to the human body. The blood supply in the radiated skin is

increased and the metabolic turnover in the field of temperature enhanced. The mode of action of the infrared

light encourages the body to heal; healing processes are thus assisted in a specific area.

Infrared light can be used as a parallel treatment in diseases of the ear, nose and throat and to assist in facial and

beauty care, especially in case of impure skin.

However, first ask your family doctor whether application in the individual case is advisable from a medical

standpoint.

Warning

• This infrared lamp is only intended for radiating the human body.

• Always use the protective eyewear supplied during usage.

• Before use, ensure that all packaging materials are removed and that there is no visible damage to the

unit or accessories. When in doubt, do not use the unit and contact your dealer or the customer service

address provided.

• Always ensure that the appliance is on a secure and even surface.

• The lamp housing and the infrared lamp become very hot during operation. There is a risk of burning if

these are touched. Always let the lamp cool down first before touching it.

• Inflammable objects must be kept at a distance of at least 1.0 m from the infrared lamp. Do not hang the

appliance on the wall or from the ceiling.

• Connect the unit only to the mains voltage listed on the type plate.

• Do not dip the unit into water and do not use it in wet rooms.

• This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with restricted physical, sensory or

mental capabilities and/or by persons lacking the required understanding of the equipment and how it is

used, unless they are supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or they are given instruc-

tions on how to use the device.

• Do not use on babies and small children.

• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not use the device as a toy.

• This device is not intended for use on changing units, cots or similar.

• Cleaning and user maintenace must not be performed by children unless supervised.

• Do not use it on persons sensitive to heat.

The sensitivity to heat can be reduced or increased in the following cases:

― diabetic patients

― persons with sleepiness, dementia or difficulties concentrating

― persons with illness-related skin changes or persons with scarred skin areas in the application area

― persons with allergies

― children and older persons

― after consuming medications or alcohol

• Do not operate the device if you are wearing an implant, particularly if it is located in the area of the body

to be treated. If you have any doubts, consult your doctor.

• If you are pregnant, do not operate the device near your abdomen, in order to prevent this area from over-

heating. If you have any doubts, consult your doctor.

• In case of acutely inflammatory processes, radiation should only be carried out after consulting a doctor.

• Always limit the period of use and check the reaction of the skin.

• Medications, cosmetics or food can lead to a over-sensitive or allergic reaction of the skin under certain

conditions. Radiation must be ended immediately in this case.

• An appropriate distance between the infrared lamp and the desired treatment area must be maintained

during treatment so that no skin irritation, such as tingling, itching, burning or too high heat sensitivity

occurs. Stop the treatment if this occurs. Alternatively, increase the radiation distance and/or reduce the

5. Initial use

Setup

Remove the unit from the packaging. Remove all packaging material before using the appliance. Before use,

check whether the infrared lamp is properly screwed in. Place the device on flat surfaces. The appliance has an

adjustable lampshade. Set the angle of the fluorescent screen in accordance with your individual requirements.

Mains connection

Connect the unit only to the mains voltage listed on the type plate.

Note:

• Ensure that there is a socket near the place where the lamp will stand.

• Lay the mains cable in such a way that no one can trip over it.

Replacing the fuse (UK plug only)

If the fuse needs replacing, please observe the following:

• Remove the mains plug.

• Lift out the fuse holder from the inside of the mains plug using a flat screwdriver.

• Pull out the fuse from the fuse holder and replace it with a new fuse type: 3A (breaking capacity 6 kA at 240 V)

in accordance with BS-1362 / SS167.

• Press the fuse holder containing the new fuse into the plug slot.

• Plug the mains plug into the socket and test to see if it works.

6. Operation

1Switching on the lamp



To connect to the mains, fully insert the plug into the socket. Once inserted, the „5 min“ LED will

flash. This is the readiness indicator (standby). Press the On/Off button (4) once to switch on the lamp.

2Enjoying the light

The recommended duration of treatment is maximum 15 minutes and should be limited to a ma-

ximum of two treatments a day. We recommend selecting a shorter radiation period to start with.

However, the skin of some people may show an over-sensitive (e.g. with extreme redness, blistering,

itching, heavy sweating) or allergic reaction to heat radiation, even when the lamp is used correctly. If

symptoms are not relieved after 6 to 8 applications, stop using the device and consult your doctor.

3LED display/timer

The IL 35 infrared lamp indicates your current treatment time with the aid of 3 LEDs.

The treatment time can be set at the following 3 levels.

To scroll through the timer, hold down the On/Off button

The lamp switches off automatically once the set treatment time has elapsed. To switch off the lamp

4Important instructions

The distance between the infrared lamp and the radiated part of the body should not be less than the

following: at least 32 in (80 cm).

Always use the protective eyewear supplied during usage. The protective eyewear corresponds to the

requirements of EN 171:2002 and serves to protect the eyes.

CAUTION: Never look directly into the infrared light without protective eyewear.

Basically,

examine the radiated section of the body regularly. Discontinue radiation immediately if any signs of

an over-sensitive or allergic reaction appear and consult a physician.

5Switching off the lamp

CAUTION!

The lamp is hot after being used. Let the lamp cool off first long enough before you put it away and/

or pack it up!

Please note that the mains cable must not be wound round the infrared lamp either for storage or

when in use.

Disconnect the mains plug from the socket to fully switch off the device.

7. Changing the infrared lamp

The device must be switched off and allowed to cool and the mains plug pulled out before cleaning and chan-

ging the infrared heat lamp.

Please note that only infrared lamps of the original type may be used as replacements.

8. Cleaning and care of the unit

The unit should be cleaned occasionally.

Important

To avoid odours caused by fluff and dust, we recommend regularly cleaning the device as follows:

• The device must be switched off and allowed to cool and the mains plug pulled out before cleaning and

changing the infrared heat lamp.

• Ensure that no water penetrates inside the unit!

• Do not wash the unit in a washing machine!

Clean using a damp cloth, to which you can apply a little detergent if necessary.

• Do not use abrasive detergents and never immerse the unit in water. Do not touch the unit with wet hands

while it is plugged in; do not allow any water to be sprayed onto the unit.

• The unit must be operated only when it is completely dry.

9. Disposal

For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at the end of its useful life.

Dispose of the unit at a suitable local collection or recycling point. Dispose of the device in accordance

with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any questions, please

contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.

Avertissement

• Ce radiateur thermique infrarouge est exclusivement prévu pour l’irradiation du corps humain.

• Pendant l’utilisation, utilisez toujours les lunettes de sécurité fournies.

• Avant l’utilisation, assurez-vous que l’appareil et les accessoires ne présentent aucun dommage visible et

que la totalité de l’emballage a bien été retirée. En cas de doute, ne l’utilisez pas et adressez-vous à votre

revendeur ou au service client indiqué.

• Assurez-vous que l’appareil reste stable et horizontal en permanence.

• La température du boîtier de la lampe et du radiateur thermique infrarouge augmente considérablement

lors de l’utilisation de l’appareil. Ne pas toucher l’appareil. Danger de brûlures! Laissez toujours d’abord

refroidir la lampe avant de la toucher.

• La distance à respecter entre les objets inflammables et le radiateur thermique infrarouge est de 1,0m au

minimum. N’accrochez pas l’appareil au mur ni au plafond.

• Ne raccordez pas l’appareil à une autre tension que celle indiquée sur la plaque signalétique.

• Ne pas immerger l’appareil dans l’eau ni l’utiliser dans des pièces humides.

• Cet appareil n’est pas conçu pour être utilisé par une personne (y compris les enfants) dont les capacités

physiques, sensorielles ou intellectuelles sont limitées, ou n’ayant pas l’expérience et/ou les connais-

sances nécessaires. Le cas échéant, cette personne doit, pour sa sécurité, être surveillée par une person-

ne compétente ou doit recevoir vos recommandations sur la manière d’utiliser l’appareil.

• N’utilisez pas l’appareil si vous portez un implant, surtout s’il se trouve dans la zone à traiter. En cas de

doute, demandez conseil à votre médecin.

• Si vous êtes enceinte, n’utilisez pas l’appareil près de votre abdomen afin d’éviter une surchauffe dans

cette zone. En cas de doute, demandez conseil à votre médecin.

• Dans le cas de processus inflammatoires aigus, un rayonnement devrait uniquement avoir lieu après con-

sultation d’un médecin.

• Limitez toujours la durée d’exposition et vérifiez la réaction de votre peau.

• Les médicaments, les produits cosmétiques ou les produits alimentaires peuvent le cas échéant conduire

à une hypersensibilité ou à une réaction allergique de la peau. Dans ce cas, il doit être immédiatement mis

fin au rayonnement.

• Utilisez le radiateur thermique infrarouge à une distance de la zone de rayonnement souhaitée telle

qu‘aucune irritation de la peau, comme des fourmillements, des démangeaisons, des brûlures ou une

sensation de chaleur excessive ne puisse être ressentie pendant le traitement. Dans ce cas, interrompez

le traitement. Vous pouvez également augmenter la distance de rayonnement et/ou réduire la durée de

rayonnement.

• Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à l’irradiation par le haut.

• N’utilisez pas l’appareil à des distances inférieures aux distances indiquées dans ce mode d’emploi.

• Ne jamais dormir pendant le rayonnement!

• Une utilisation prolongée peut entraîner des brûlures de la peau.

• Ne pas saisir ni dévisser le radiateur thermique infrarouge lorsque le câble d’alimentation est branché.

• Les enfants ne sont pas conscients des dangers liés aux appareils électriques. Assurez-vous que

l’appareil ne puisse pas être utilisé par des enfants sans surveillance.

• L’appareil ne doit être utilisé que sous surveillance.

• Conservez l’emballage hors de portée des enfants (risque d’étouffement).

• Lorsqu’il est chaud, l’appareil ne doit pas être recouvert ni emballé.

• Déconnectez toujours l’adaptateur secteur et laissez l’appareil refroidir avant de le toucher.

• Lorsqu’il est branché, l’appareil ne doit pas être saisi avec des mains humides; protégez l’appareil des

Installation

Sortez l’appareil de son emballage. Retirez tous les matériaux d’emballage avant d’utiliser l’appareil. Avant

utilisation, assurez-vous que le radiateur thermique infrarouge est correctement vissé. Posez-le sur une surface

plane. L’appareil est équipé d’un abat-jour orientable. Réglez l’inclinaison de l’abat-jour selon vos préférences.

Connexion au secteur

Branchez l’appareil uniquement à la tension indiquée sur la plaque signalétique.

Remarque:

• Vérifiez qu’il y a bien une prise à proximité du lieu d’installation.

• Placez le câble d’alimentation de manière à ce que personne ne puisse trébucher dessus.

6. Utilisation

1Mise en marche de la lampe

 Pour connecter l’appareil au réseau, insérez complètement la fiche dans la prise. Après avoir branché

l’appareil, la LED «5min» clignote. Il s’agit du témoin de disponibilité (veille). Appuyez une fois sur la

touche Marche/Arrêt (4) pour allumer la lampe.

2Apprécier la lumière

Il est recommandé d’utiliser l’appareil 15minutes max. et pas plus de deux fois par jour. Pour commen-

cer, nous recommandons de sélectionner une durée de traitement courte. Même en cas d’utilisation

correcte de l’appareil, la peau de certaines personnes peut toutefois être plus sensible au rayonne-

ment de la chaleur (p. ex. fortes rougeurs, formation d’ampoules, démangeaisons, forte transpiration)

ou réagir de façon allergique. Si vous ne ressentez aucun soulagement après 6 à 8 utilisations, cessez

d’utiliser l’appareil et consultez votre médecin.

3Voyant LED/minuteur

La lampe à infrarouge IL 35 affiche sa durée d’utilisation actuelle à l’aide de 3LED.

La durée d’utilisation peut être réglée sur les 3niveaux suivants.

Pour activer le minuteur, appuyez sur la touche Marche/Arrêt (4) jusqu’à ce que la durée souhaitée s’affiche.

Les durées sont les suivantes:

À la fin de la durée d’utilisation définie, la lampe s’éteint automatiquement. Pour éteindre la lampe avant

la fin de la durée d’utilisation, appuyez une ou plusieurs fois sur la touche Marche/Arrêt (4) jusqu’à ce

que seule la LED «5min» clignote, que les autres LED soient éteintes et que le radiateur s’éteigne.

4À quoi devriez-vous faire attention?

L’espace entre le radiateur thermique infrarouge et la partie du corps traitée ne doit pas être inférieur à

la valeur suivante: au moins 80cm.

Pendant l’utilisation, utilisez toujours les lunettes de sécurité fournies. Les lunettes de protection sont

conformes aux exigences de la norme EN 171:2002 et servent à protéger les yeux.

ATTENTION: Ne regardez jamais directement la lumière infrarouge sans lunettes de protection.

Le principe suivant s’applique:

Contrôlez régulièrement les zones du corps traitées. En cas de signe d’hypersensibilité ou de réaction

allergique, cessez immédiatement le rayonnement et consultez un médecin.

5Éteindre la lampe

ATTENTION!

La lampe est chaude après utilisation. Laissez d’abord refroidir la lampe pendant un temps suffisant

avant de la ranger et/ou de l’emballer!

Veuillez noter que le cordon d’alimentation ne doit pas être enroulé autour de la lampe infrarouge, ni

pour le stockage, ni pendant l’utilisation.

Après l’utilisation, débranchez le câble d’alimentation de la prise pour éteindre complètement l’appareil.

7. Remplacement de la lampe à infrarouge

Avant tout nettoyage et en cas de changement de la lampe à infrarouge, l’appareil doit être arrêté, débranché et refroidi.

Veuillez n’utiliser que des lampes à infrarouge du type d’origine.

Avertissement

• Ne pas saisir ni dévisser le radiateur thermique infrarouge lorsque le câble d’alimentation est branché.

8. Nettoyer et entretenir l’appareil

De temps à autre, nettoyez l’appareil.

Attention

Afin d’éviter la formation d’odeurs dues aux peluches et à la poussière, nous recommandons un nettoyage

régulier de l’appareil, de la manière suivante:

• Avant tout nettoyage et en cas de changement de la lampe à infrarouge, l’appareil doit être arrêté, la fiche

débranchée et refroidie.

• Assurez-vous que l’eau ne s’infiltre pas à l’intérieur!

• Ne lavez pas l’appareil au lave-vaisselle!

Pour le nettoyage, utilisez un chiffon humide sur lequel vous pouvez mettre, au besoin, un peu de produit

vaisselle.

• N’utilisez pas de produit de nettoyage agressif et ne mettez jamais l’appareil sous l’eau.

Lorsqu’il est branché, l’appareil ne doit pas être saisi avec des mains humides; protégez l’appareil des

éclaboussures d’eau.

• L’appareil doit uniquement être utilisé à l’état entièrement sec.

9. Élimination

Dans l’intérêt de la protection de l’environnement, l’appareil ne doit pas être jeté avec les ordures ménagères à la

fin de sa durée de service. L’élimination doit se faire par le biais des points de collecte compétents dans votre

pays. Veuillez éliminer l’appareil conformément à la directive européenne – WEEE (Waste Electrical and

Electronic Equipment) relative aux appareils électriques et électroniques usagés. Pour toute question,

adressez-vous aux collectivités locales responsables de l’élimination et du recyclage de ces produits.

El presente reflector infrarrojo ha sido previsto para usarse exclusivamente en la irradiación del cuerpo humano.

Mediante la irradiación con luz infrarroja se transfiere calor al cuerpo de la persona. Con ello se consigue un

aumento de la irrigación sanguínea de la piel irradiada, así como un incremento del metabolismo de la misma

zona. La luz infrarroja ejerce un efecto estimulante sobre el cuerpo, apoyando de manera directa los procesos de

curación.

Esta luz se puede aplicar, por ejemplo, como terapia acompañante en el tratamiento de enfermedades
