INSTALLATION OF THE FILTER
Place the installation pins on your filter to the seat under your teapot
lid and lock it by rotating clockwise.
1. To fill the water heater with water remove the heater from the base, open its cap and fill
desired amount of water into the heater. Always fill the heater between the minimum (0,5L)
and maximum (1,7L) marks. If you add too little water, the heater will turn off without boiling.
NOTE: Do not fill the heater with water over the maximum level, because in this case, water
might pour out from the opening of heater while boiling. Before plugging in the device, make
sure that it is sealed properly.
2. Place the heater on the base.
3. Plug it in. The moment you plug in, your device will start heating. Press the on/off button
under the handle. Then start boiling water. When water is boiled the knob will pop and proceed
to heating function. During the boiling process, you can switch the device to a water heating
function by pressing the on/off button at any time.
NOTE: Make sure that there is anything which blocks the on/off button and the cap is sealed
properly. In a case that on/off button is jammed or the cap is left open, the heater will not turn
off.
4. Discharge water by lifting the water heater from the base.
NOTE: Since boiling water may cause burn, be careful when discharging water from your heater
and also do not open the cap when the water is hot.
5. The heater will not boil without the on/off button is switched downwards. You may store your
water heater on the base by unplugging it when unused.
NOTE: When the heater is unused, make sure that the power supply is off.
Dry boiling protection
In the event that you accidentally operate the water heater without adding any water, dry boiling
protection will turn off the water heater. If this is the case, fill the water heater with cold water
and wait for the heater to warm up before you perform a boiling operation again.
Maintenance and cleaning
Always unplug the device before cleaning.
Never immerse the heater or its cable into water or do not allow that these parts contact
moisture.
Cleaning of mineral residues
Mineral residues in tap water may cause discoloration inside the heater. In order to remove
this accumulation, use a Liquid Descaling Agent which is easy to use and non-poisonous cleanser.
Alternatively:
1. Pour a certain scale of vinegar to the heater, fill the rest with water and keep it waiting
overnight. Do not boil anything.
2. Discharge the mixture from the heater. Remaining stains might be removed by rubbing with
a wet towel; fill the heater with water, boil and discharge the water. Repeat this
