Positioning and connection
Positioning
1. Placetheapplianceinawell-ventilatedhumidity-freeroom.
2. Donotobstructtherearfangrills.Thecompressorand
condensergiveoffheatandrequiregoodventilationto
operatecorrectlyandsaveenergy.
3. Leaveaspaceofatleast10cmbetweenthetoppartof
theapplianceandanyfurnitureaboveit,andatleast5cm
betweenthesidesandanyfurniture/sidewalls.
4. Ensuretheapplianceisawayfromanysourcesofheat
(directsunlight,electricstove,etc.).
5. Inordertomaintainthecorrectdistancebetweenthe
applianceandthewallbehindit,fitthespacerssuppliedin
theinstallationkit,followingtheinstructionsprovided.
Levelling
1. Installtheapplianceonalevelandrigidfloor.
2. Ifthefloorisnotperfectlyhorizontal,adjusttherefrigerator
bytighteningorlooseningthefrontfeet.
Electrical connections
Aftertheappliancehasbeentransported,carefullyplaceit
verticallyandwaitatleast3hoursbeforeconnectingittothe
electricitymains.Beforeinsertingtheplugintotheelectrical
socketensurethefollowing:
• Theapplianceisearthedandtheplugiscompliantwiththe
law.
• Thesocketcanwithstandthemaximumpowerofthe
appliance,whichisindicatedonthedataplatelocatedon
thebottomleftsideofthefridge(e.g.150W).
• Thevoltagemustbeintherangebetweenthevaluesindicated
onthedataplatelocatedonthebottomleftside(e.g.220-
240V).
• Thesocketiscompatiblewiththeplugoftheappliance.If
thesocketisincompatiblewiththeplug,askanauthorised
techniciantoreplaceit(seeAssistance).Donotuse
extensioncordsormultiplesockets.
!Oncetheappliancehasbeeninstalled,thepowersupply
cableandtheelectricalsocketmustbeeasilyaccessible.
!Thecablemustnotbebentorcompressed.
!Thecablemustbecheckedregularlyandreplacedby
authorisedtechniciansonly(seeAssistance).

Start-up and use
Starting the appliance
!Aftertransportationoftheappliance,carefullyplaceitinan
uprightpositionandwaitatleast3hoursbeforeconnectingitto
theelectricitymains,tomakesureitoperatesasitshould.
• Cleantheinsideoftherefrigeratorwellusingwarmwater
andbicarbonateofsodabeforeplacingfoodinsideit.
• Theappliancecomeswithamotorprotectioncontrolsystem
whichmakesthecompressorstartapproximately8minutes
afterbeingswitchedon.Thecompressoralsostartseach
timethepowersupplyiscutoffwhethervoluntarilyor
involuntarily(blackout).
Freezer Compartment
Whentheproductisswitchedonthefreezercompartmentissetto
itsdefaultvalueof-18°C.WerecommendthattheSUPERFREEZE
functionissetinordertoacceleratethecoolingprocessofthe
compartment;whentheinsideofthecompartmenthasreachedits
optimaltemperaturethefunctionwillbedeactivatedandthefood
maybeplacedinside.
Refrigerator Compartment
Whentheapplianceisswitchedontherefrigeratorcompartment
issettoitsdefaultvalueof+5°C.WerecommendthattheSUPER
COOLfunctionissetinordertoacceleratethecoolingprocessof
thecompartment.Afterafewhoursitwillbecoolenoughforfood
tobeplacedinside.
Navigating the display
Setting the temperatures:
Iftheproductisswitchedon,therefrigeratorandfreezer
compartmentdisplayswillindicatethetemperaturevaluessetat
thatmoment.Tochangethem,simplypressthe-and+buttons
correspondingtothecompartmentforwhichyouwishtochange
thesettemperature.Morespecifically,eachtimethebuttonsare
pressed,thetemperatureincreasesordecreasesandthelevelof
coldgeneratedinsidethecompartmentisadjustedaccordingly.
Thetemperaturevaluesthatmaybeselectedfortherefrigerator
compartmentare+8°C,+7°C,+6°C,+5°C,+4°C,+3°Cand
+2°C,whilethevaluesthatmaybesetforthefreezerare-18°C,
-19°C,-20°C,-21°C,-22°C,-23°C,-24°C,-25°C,and-26°C.If
SUPERCOOLfunctionisactivated,Fridgetemperaturecannot
bemodified.IfSUPERFREEZEfunctionsisactivated,Freezer
temperaturecannotbemodified.
Using the refrigerator to its full potential
Itisrecognisablebyaerationcellslocatedonthebackwallsof
thecompartments.
TheNoFrostsystemcirculatescoldaircontinuouslytocollect
humidityandpreventiceandfrostformation.Thesystem
maintainsanoptimalhumiditylevelinthecompartment,
preservingtheoriginalqualityofthefood,preventingthefood
fromstickingtogetherandmakingdefrostingathingofthe
past.
• Donotblocktheaerationcellsbyplacingfoodorcontainers
indirectcontactwiththerefrigeratingbackpanel.
• Closebottlesandwrapfoodtightly.
• Placeonlycoldorlukewarmfoodsinthecompartment,not
hotfoods(seePrecautionsandtips).
• Rememberthatcookedfoodsdonotlastlongerthanraw
foods.
SHELVES

Duetothespecialguidestheshelvesareremovableandthe
heightisadjustable(seediagram),allowingeasystorageof
largecontainersandfood.Heightcanbeadjustedwithout
