product as well is one of those offered to you make life easier for you.

In order to obtain utmost output from your appliance, please read

carefully this user’s manual and save it for further use.

corresponds with the mains voltage in your home. Our company shall

not be held liable for any failures owing to any discrepancy and such

failures shall not be covered by the guarantee.

such as a stove, heating oven, etc.

• Ensurethattheapplianceisplacedonarmandatsurface.Do

not put it on the edge of a table or bench. The least blow or knock may

overturnit.Donotforgetthatitmaybefullofhotwater.

• Donotletcordhangoveredgeoftablecounterortouchanyother

appliances.

• Avoidactionsthatmayharmordamagethecordorplugofyour

appliance.Donotcarryyourappliancebyholdingfromthecord.To

unplug the tea maker, hold the plug and NEVER pull by the cord.

• Neverinterferewithyourapplianceexceptforthepurposesof

cleaningandmaintenance.Donotoperateanyappliancewitha

damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been

damagedinanymanner,suchasbydroppingdown,etc.Donotattempt

to repair it by yourself. Call immediately an Arzum Authorized Service.

• Alwaysholdyourappliancebyitshandle,sinceitsoutersurfacemay

be hot.

• Unplugfromoutletwhennotinuseandbeforecleaning.Allowitto

cool down before cleaning the appliance.

• UseyourArzum Tea Makerwithitsownpowerbaseunitonly.Donot

place it on those units belonging to any other appliance.

• Avoidcontactwithsteamtobeejectedfromspoutwhenthewateris

boiling, and do not let children to use the appliance.

• AteapotorlidMUSTbeplacedonthekettleappliance,whenthe

boiling switch of your Arzum Tea Maker is on. Otherwise, your appliance

will be delayed to pass to the energy saving position, even when the

water is boiling.

• NEVER immerse the kettle and power base unit in water or other

liquids, nor wash in a dishwasher, nor use in bathroom or any other

places with a high rate of moisture.

• Whenllingwithwaterremovetheappliancefromitspowerbaseunit.

• NEVER put anything into the kettle other than water.

• Neverleavethepowerbaseunitandelectricalconnectionendsof

your appliance in a damp state. If wetted, unplug before drying and no

not operate your appliance before having it dried completely.

USING YOUR TEA MAKER

• Whenyoutaketheteapottollteapullandtakeoffitsbasefrom

the settled surface. Thus, the drops that accumulate on the base will be

poured in the water heater.

• WashinsideyourArzum Tea Maker by means of putting water in it

before the ﬁrst use. Boil it for two or three times in the water heater and

change the water every time. Ensure that

the water is at the maximum level when you

performthisprocess.Dischargethehotwater

before every boiling and wash inside your

appliance with cold water.

• Fillinyourwaterheaterwateralways

between the levels min (0.5 lt) or max (1.8 lt).

If you attempt

boiling the water

under the minimum

level, it will cause

your appliance to

be shut off earlier

and if you attempt

the water above the

maximum level, it

willcausewatertooverow.

•Openthesteelteapotlidandremovethetealterandaddsufcient

amount of tea in the ﬁlter and add some cold water and then replace it

on the teapot.

• Openbytakingthemainswitchto“I”andtheboilingswitchto

position. The red pilot light will be on and the water will start heating.

• Dependingontheamountofwateradded,thewaterwillstartboiling

within 3-8 minutes and the boiling switch will pass automatically to the

closed position and it will decrease the heating power to keep the

water boiling at the minimum level and to provide the energy saving.

Meanwhile,theredpilotlightwillgooutandthegreenpilotlightwillbeon.

• Steeptheteawiththeboiledwaterandreplacethesteelteapot.If

necessary, add water to your water heater. If you add water, take the

boiling switch again to the open position.

SECURITY SYSTEM

• Whenthewaterboils,theappliancepassestotheenergysaving

mode automatically.

• OperationProtectionwithoutwater:Yourapplianceisprotectedwith

two thermostats for your security.

CLEANING

• Shutdownthemainswitch(i/o)ofyourapplianceandtaketothe

“0”position,disconnecttheplugfromtheoutletandwaitforyour

appliancetocooldownbeforecleaning.

• Youcanwashthesteelteapotandlterof

your Arzum Tea Maker in hand. NEVER wash

the other parts by means of plunging them into

water or in the dishwasher.

• Dischargethewaterinyourwaterheater

and wipe its external surface with a dry or

damp cloth.

• Donotcleananyaccessoryofyourappliancebymeansofusingthe

hard and chemical cleaners (liquid bleach, hydrochloric acid etc).

CALCIFICATION REMOVAL

• Thecalcicationwithinthewaterusedin

the course of time accumulates on the heater

base and burns out and forms a brown layer

and then reduces the output of your heater.

• Theslightcalcicationcanbecleaned

easily with a brush. (Before doing this process,

do not forget to disconnect the plug from the

outlet ﬁrst.).

• Youcancleanthehardcalcicationwithsedimentsbymeansofthe

calciﬁcation removers which are sold for the household appliances that

can be purchased from the market or vinegar.

• Tocleanwiththecalcicationremover;afterboilingsomewaterin

yourappliance,mixthecalcicationremoverwiththeboiledwater.After

waiting for a while, boil your heater 2-3 min. more and discharge its

inside and wash with clean water for 2-3 times.

• Tocleanwithwhitevinegar;llhalfliterofwhitevinegarinyour

appliance and wait for 1 hour, and after that, empty the vinegar and wash

your appliance with clean water for 2-3 times.

GARANTİ ŞARTLARI

1. Garanti süresi, malın teslim tarihinden itibaren başlar ve 3 yıldır.

2. Malınbütünparçalarıdahilolmaküzeretamamıgarantikapsamındadır.

3. Malınayıplıolduğununanlaşılmasıdurumundatüketici,6502sayılı

TüketicininKorunmasıHakkındaKanunun11incimaddesindeyeralan;

a- Sözleşmeden dönme,

b- Satış bedelinden indirim isteme,

c- Ücretsiz onarılmasını isteme,

ç- Satılanın ayıpsız bir misli ile değiştirilmesini isteme,

haklarından birini kullanabilir.

4. Tüketicinin bu haklardan ücretsiz onarım hakkını seçmesi durumunda

satıcı;işçilikmasrafı,değiştirilenparçabedeliyadabaşkaherhangibir

adaltındahiçbirücrettalepetmeksizinmalınonarımınıyapmakveya

yaptırmakla yükümlüdür. Tüketici ücretsiz onarım hakkını üretici veya

ithalatçıyakarşıkullananilir.Satıcı,üreticiveithalatçıtüketicininbuhakkını

kullanmasından müteselsilen sorumludur.

5. Tüketicinin, ücretsiz onarım hakkını kullanması halinde malın;

 -Garantisüresiiçindetekrararızalanması,

 -Tamiriiçingerekenazamisüreninaşılması,

 -Tamirininmümkünolmadığının,yetkiliservisistasyonu,satıcı,üretici

veyaithalatçıtarafındanbirraporlabelirlenmesidurumlarında;

tüketici malin bedel iadesini, ayıp oranında bedel indirimini veya imkan

varsamalınayıpsızmisliiledeğiştirilmesinisatıcıdantalepedebilir.

Satıcı, tüketicinin talebini reddedemez. Bu talebin yerine getirilmemesi

durumundasatıcı,üreticiveithalatçımüteselsilensorumludur.

6. Malıntamirsüresi20 iş gününü,binekotomobilvekamyonetleriçin

ise 30 iş gününügeçemez.Busüre,garantisüresiiçerisindemalailişkin

arızanın yetkili servis istasyonuna veya satıcıya bildirimi tarihinde, garanti

süresi dışında ise malın yetkili servis istasyonuna teslim tarihinden itibaren

başlar.Malınarızasının10 iş günüiçerisindegiderilememesihalindeüretici

veyaithalatçı;malıntamiritamamlanıncayakadar,benzerözelliklere

sahipbaşkabirmalıtüketicininkullanımınatahsisetmekzorundadır.Malın

garantisüresiiçerisindearızalanmasıdurumunda,tamirdegeçensüre

garanti süresine eklenir.

7. Malınkullanmakılavuzundayeralanhususlaraaykırıkullanılmasında

kaynaklanan arızalar garanti kapsamı dışındadır.

8. Tüketici,garantidendoğanhaklarınınkullanılmasıileilgiliolarak

çıkabilecekuyuşmazlıklardayerleşimyerininbulunduğuveyatüketici

işlemininyapıldığıyerdekiTüketiciHakemHeyetineveyaTüketici

Mahkemesinebaşvurabilir.

9. Satıcı tarafından bu Garanti Belgesinin verilmesi durumunda, tüketici

Gümrük ve Ticaret Bakanlığı Tüketicinin Korunması ve Piyasa Gözetimi

Genel Müdürlüğüne başvurabilir.
