WARNING: Always wear ear protection where the sound level exceeds 85dB(A) and limit the

time of exposure if necessary. If sound levels are uncomfortable, even with ear protection, stop

using the tool immediately and check the ear protection is correctly ﬁtted and provides the

correct level of sound attenuation for the level of sound produced by your tool.

WARNING: User exposure to tool vibration can result in loss of sense of touch, numbness,

tingling and reduced ability to grip. Long-term exposure can lead to a chronic condition. If

necessary, limit the length of time exposed to vibration and use anti-vibration gloves. Do not

operate the tool with hands below a normal comfortable temperature, as vibration will have a

greater effect. Use the ﬁgures provided in the speciﬁcation relating to vibration to calculate the

duration and frequency of operating the tool.

working conditions. A poorly maintained, incorrectly assembled, or misused tool, may produce

The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or

battery-operated (cordless) power tool.

1 - Keep work area clear - Cluttered areas and benches invite injuries

2 - Consider work area environment

- Do not expose tools to rain

- Do not use tools in damp or wet locations

- Keep work area well lit

- Do not use tools in the presence of ﬂammable liquids or gases

3 - Guard against electric shock - Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces

(e.g. pipes, radiators, ranges, refrigerators)

4 - Keep other persons away - Do not let persons, especially children, not involved in the

work touch the tool or the extension cord and keep them away from the work area

5 - Store idle tools - When not in use, tools should be stored in a dry locked-up place, out of

reach of children

6 - Do not force the tool - It will perform the job better and safer at the rate for which it was

7 - Use the right tool - Do not force small tools to do the job of a heavy duty tool

circular saws to cut tree limbs or logs

WARNING: Not using protective equipment or appropriate clothing can cause personal injury

or increase the severity of an injury.

10 - Connect dust extraction equipment - If the tool is provided for the connection of dust

extraction and collecting equipment, ensure these are connected and properly used

11 - Do not abuse the power cable - Never pull the power cable to disconnect it from the

socket. Keep the power cable away from heat, oil and sharp edges. Damaged or

entangled power cables increase the risk of electric shock

12 - Secure work - Where possible use clamps or a vice to hold the work. It is safer than

using your hands

13 - Do not overreach - Keep proper footing and balance at all times

14 - Maintain tools with care

- Keeping cutting tools sharp and clean makes the tool easier to control and less likely to

bind or lock in the workpiece

- Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories

- Inspect tool power cables periodically and have them repaired by an authorised service

facility if damaged

- Inspect extension cables periodically and replace if damaged

- Keep handles dry, clean and free from oil and grease

WARNING: Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

15 - Disconnect tools - Disconnect tools from the power supply when not in use, before

servicing and when changing accessories such as blades, bits and cutters

WARNING: The use of accessories or attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may

result in a risk of injury to persons.

16 - Remove adjusting keys and wrenches - Form the habit of checking to see that keys

and adjusting wrenches are removed from the tool before switching it on

mains socket, inserting a battery pack, or when picking up or carrying the tool

WARNING: Unintended starting of a tool can cause major injuries.

18 - Use outdoor extension leads - When the tool is used outdoors, use only extension cords

intended for outdoor use and so marked. Use of an extension cable suitable for outdoor

use reduces the risk of electric shock

19 - Stay alert

- Watch what you are doing, use common sense and do not operate the tool when you

are tired

- Do not use a power tool while you are under the inﬂuence of drugs, alcohol or

medication

WARNING: A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal

injury.

20 - Check damaged parts

- Before further use of tool, it should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate

properly and perform its intended function

- Check for alignment of moving parts, binding of moving parts, breakage of parts,

mounting and any other conditions that may affect its operation

- A guard or other part that is damaged should be properly repaired or replaced by an

authorised service centre unless otherwise indicated in this instruction manual

- Have defective switches replaced by an authorised service centre

WARNING: Do not use the tool if the on/off switch does not switch the tool on and off. The

switch must be repaired before the tool is used.

21 - Have your tool repaired by a qualiﬁed person - This electric tool complies with the

relevant safety rules. Repairs should only be carried out by qualiﬁed persons, otherwise

this may result in considerable danger to the user

WARNING: When servicing use only identical replacement parts.

WARNING: If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an

authorised service centre.

22 - Power tool mains plugs must match the mains socket - Never modify the plug in any

way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodiﬁed

plugs and matching sockets will reduce risk of electric shock

23 - If operating a power tool outside use a residual current device (RCD) - Use of an

RCD reduces the risk of electric shock

NOTE: The term “residual current device (RCD)” may be replaced by the term “ground fault

circuit interrupter (GFCI)” or “earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB)”.

WARNING: When used in Australia or New Zealand, it is recommended that this tool is ALWAYS

supplied via Residual Current Device (RCD) with a rated residual current of 30mA or less.

WARNING: Before connecting a tool to a power source (mains switch power point receptacle,

outlet, etc.) be sure that the voltage supply is the same as that speciﬁed on the nameplate of

the tool. A power source with a voltage greater than that speciﬁed for the tool can result in

serious injury to the user, and damage to the tool. If in doubt, do not plug in the tool. Using a

power source with a voltage less than the nameplate rating is harmful to the motor.

Polarized Plugs (for North America only) To reduce the risk of electric shock, this equipment

has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will ﬁt in a polarized outlet

only one way. If the plug does not ﬁt fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not ﬁt,

contact a qualiﬁed electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.

USA Safety Rules

1. KEEP GUARDS IN PLACE and in working order.

2. REMOVE ADJUSTING KEYS AND WRENCHES. Form habit of checking to see that keys and

adjusting wrenches are removed from tool before turning it on.

3. KEEP WORK AREA CLEAN. Cluttered areas and benches invite accidents.

4. DON'T USE IN DANGEROUS ENVIRONMENT. Don't use power tools in damp or wet

locations, or expose them to rain. Keep work area well lit.

5. KEEP CHILDREN AWAY. All visitors should be kept safe distance from work area.

6. MAKE WORKSHOP KID PROOF with padlocks, master switches, or by removing starter

keys.

7. DON'T FORCE TOOL. It will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was

designed.

8. USE RIGHT TOOL. Don't force tool or attachment to do a job for which it was not designed.

9. USE PROPER EXTENSION CORD. Make sure your extension cord is in good condition.

When using an extension cord, be sure to use one heavy enough to carry the current your

product will draw. An undersized cord will cause a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of

power and overheating. Table A shows the correct size to use depending on cord length

and nameplate ampere rating. If in doubt, use the next heavier gage. The smaller the gage

number, the heavier the cord.

10. WEAR PROPER APPAREL Do not wear loose clothing, gloves, neckties, rings, bracelets, or

other jewelry which may get caught in moving parts. Nonslip footwear is recommended.

Wear protective hair covering to contain long hair.

11. ALWAYS USE SAFETY GLASSES. Also use face or dust mask if cutting operation is dusty.

Everyday eyeglasses only have impact resistant lenses, they are NOT safety glasses.

12. SECURE WORK. Use clamps or a vise to hold work when practical. It's safer than using

your hand and it frees both hands to operate tool.

13. DON'T OVERREACH. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.

14. MAINTAIN TOOLS WITH CARE. Keep tools sharp and clean for best and safest performance.

Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.

15. DISCONNECT TOOLS before servicing; when changing accessories, such as blades, bits,

cutters, and the like.

16. REDUCE THE RISK OF UNINTENTIONAL STARTING. Make sure switch is in off position

before plugging in.

17. USE RECOMMENDED ACCESSORIES. Consult the owner's manual for recommended

accessories. The use of improper accessories may cause risk of injury to persons.

18. NEVER STAND ON TOOL Serious injury could occur if the tool is tipped or if the cutting tool

is unintentionally contacted.

19. CHECK DAMAGED PARTS. Before further use of the tool, a guard or other part that is

damaged should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and

perform its intended function - check for alignment of moving parts, binding of moving

parts, breakage of parts, mounting, and any other conditions that may affect its operation.

20. DIRECTION OF FEED. Feed work into a blade or cutter against the direction of rotation of

the blade or cutter only.

21. NEVER LEAVE TOOL RUNNING UNATTENDED. TURN POWER OFF. Don't leave tool until it

comes to a complete stop.

Triton Project Saw Safety

WARNING: The rated speed of the saw blade must be at least equal to the

maximum speed marked on the power tool. Accessories running faster than their rated

speed can break and ﬂy apart.

WARNING: ALWAYS disconnect the saw from the power supply before carrying out any

inspection, maintenance or cleaning.

WARNING: ALWAYS wear suitable cut-proof gloves when handling the table saw blade.

Not doing so may result in cuts, or harm to the operator.

• Never try to cut multiple workpieces at a time. Workpieces ‘stacked’ or positioned

adjacent to one another cannot be adequately supported, and may move during operation.

• Ensure the project saw is positioned/mounted on a sturdy, secure, and ﬂat

horizontal surface. Failing to do this could cause the saw to move uncontrollably during

use.

• Ensure the workpiece is adequately supported before performing any cutting

tasks. Use of external clamps and guides is recommended to prevent the workpiece from

deviating off the cutting path.

• When working with oversized workpieces, always ensure adequate support is

provided in the form of support structures, saw horses, table extensions and

clamps.

• Keep bystanders at a minimum distance of 10 metres from the saw during

operation. Do not use bystanders to provide additional support to the workpiece during

operation.

• When securing the workpiece, ensure the cut-off section of the workpiece is not

conﬁned to an area. The cut-off section of the workpiece should be allowed to move

freely away from the saw blade once cut.

• Always allow the saw blade to reach its normal operating speed before

commencing a cut.

• ALWAYS use push sticks or a push block where appropriate, to prevent injury. Never

allow your ﬁngers to get close to the cutting teeth of the blade

• Project saws are to be used for cutting wood, synthetic wood and similar materials

only. This tool is incompatible with cut-off wheels designed speciﬁcally for cutting other

material types such as metals, glass and stone so must not be used to cut these materials

• Always check the workpiece for compatibility before operation, and ensure there

are no foreign objects embedded in the workpiece. Do not use excessively bowed or

warped workpieces. If bowed or warped workpieces are to be used, ensure that contact is

maintained between the fence and table surface.

• Maintain a clean, debris-free work surface at all times. Before beginning a cutting

operation, check the entire table surface for obtrusive objects and debris that may hinder

the tool’s performance.

Kickback Prevention

Note: Kickback occurs when the blade stalls rapidly, as a result from being pinched, bound or

misaligned, and drives the workpiece back towards the operator. It can also pull the operator’s

hand into the blade, resulting in serious injury.

WARNING: Kickback is the result of saw misuse and/or incorrect operating procedures

or conditions. However, if precautions are taken, kickback forces can be controlled by the

operator, or avoided altogether:

a) ALWAYS use the saw with the riving knife (also known as ‘spreader’) installed.

NEVER remove the riving knife, to prevent the kerf from closing on to the blade.

b) NEVER attempt to cut with a dull or warped blade. ALWAYS ensure the blade is suitable

for the material to be cut.

c) ALWAYS ensure the rip fence is parallel to the blade. If the fence tilts inward towards

the blade, the workpiece may come into contact with the back edge of the blade, and may

be thrown back towards the user uncontrollably as a result.

d) NEVER use the rip fence and mitre gauge simultaneously. This can lead to serious

kickback and severe injury.

e) Use CAUTION when cutting large sheets. Ensure larger stock is properly supported by

adequate in-feed and out-feed supports.

f) DO NOT cut round stock or workpieces that cannot lay ﬂat on the table. Avoid cutting

twisted, distorted or knotty wood.

g) DO NOT cut wet wood, as it produces higher friction against the saw blade. Wet

sawdust can accumulate on the blade, further increasing the likelihood of kickback.

h) ALWAYS maintain a ﬁrm grip on the workpiece, with both hands, and position your

arms to resist kickback forces.

i) Stay out of blade path and position your body to either side of the blade, but not in

line with the blade.

j) DO NOT back out of the cut. If you have to interrupt a cut before it is complete, switch

the saw off, and remove the workpiece from the saw, once the blade has stopped

spinning.

Intended Use

Compact circular saw mounted on a double bar with both ﬁxed head and moving saw head

modes. This tool functions as a TWX7 module for inserting into the Workcentre 7 or as

self-contained power tool used on a bench or ﬂoor. Cuts natural wood, man-made wood and

composite materials including laminates and ﬂooring for cross, rip and mitre cutting.

Unpacking Your Tool

• Carefully unpack and inspect your new tool. Familiarise yourself with all its features and

functions

• Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If any parts are missing

or damaged, have such parts replaced before attempting to use this tool

Before Use

WARNING: Ensure the tool is disconnected from the power supply before attaching or

changing any accessories, or making any adjustments.

Assembly

1. Attach the Handle (5) with the Saw Handle Screws (53) through the Handle Screw Holes (3

& 7) (Image A)

2. Slide the Dust Bag (54) onto the Dust Port (18) unless a dust extraction system is being

connected (Image B)

Note: If using the saw as a module for TWX7 ﬁt these additional parts as shown

1. Fit the Module Levelling Screws (57) if not pre-ﬁtted

2. Fit the Module Pins (59) through the Module Rollers (58) and screw to the body of the saw

3. Fit the Module Levelling Bobbin Screws (60)

Notes:

• A vacuum or dust extraction system can be connected to the Dust Port (18) instead of the

Dust Bag (54) (this will provide superior extraction)

• Never operate the saw without either the Dust Bag or a vacuum connected

• Empty the Dust Bag every 10-15 minutes during use and at the end of every session. The

dust produced could be of a ﬂammable nature and may contain polyurethanes or linseed

oil. Allowing the Dust Bag to get full will force the dust back into the saw mechanism and it

could ignite. Always follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for the materials being cut

The Saw Blade (19) is pre-ﬁtted but as part of the assembly process it is recommended the

user checks that the blade is securely tightened. Refer to the ‘Replacing the saw blade’

section on how to access and tighten the blade securing bolt.

Check the 2 Throat Plates (23 & 32) are in good condition and correctly ﬁtted.

WARNING: The saw must not be operated if either of the throat plates are damaged or missing.

Installing in Workcentre 7

IMPORTANT: Read these instructions in combination with the instructions supplied with your

Triton Workcentre.

WARNING: ALWAYS grip modules with both hands, ensure secure footing, stand upright, and

avoid awkward movements when removing and ﬁtting modules.

IMPORTANT: Ensure the saw head is in the locked position and use the Double Bar (21) the

saw head is mounted to, to lower the module. Uncontrolled lowering can cause Workcentre,

module and power tool damage as well as possible injury to the operator. Ensure your hand is

not placed where the module falling could crush your hand (Fig. I)

Levelling the module

• All modules must be adjusted so they are level with the Workcentre chassis, to achieve

accurate results and for safe operation. Therefore all modules are equipped with seven

Module Levelling Screws (57)

1. Fit the module into the Workcentre chassis

2. Tighten the three Module Levelling Bobbin Screws (60), until there is no movement between

the module and the Workcentre chassis

3. Place a straight edge over the corner, across the levelling screws, and check for gaps

4. Adjust the Module Levelling Screws, until both sides of the corner are ﬂush with the

Workcentre chassis

5. Repeat for the remaining three corners and the single Module Levelling Screw in the middle

of the long side of the module.

6. Check all sides of the module are ﬂush with the Workcentre chassis by placing a straight

edge over the module, perpendicular to the long and short sides, as well as diagonally over

the table. Fine-adjust and re-check where necessary

Using the saw on a bench or other surface

Position the saw on a solid, ﬂat work surface. An anti-vibration rubber mat can be placed

between the saw and the work surface to reduce vibration and prevent movement during use

on some surfaces.

WARNING: Using this tool with a portable workbench can be dangerous. Make sure there is no

risk of the workbench collapsing or toppling during use.

Connecting to mains

When used with the Workcentre 7 connect the mains plug to the trailing socket of the

Workcentre so the saw is connected to the Workcentre safety isolator switch.

It is recommended to use a non-latching active RCD (residual current device) especially when

used outside. In the USA an appliance leakage current interrupter (ALCI) is recommended.

Operation

IMPORTANT Safety

• ALWAYS wear eye protection, adequate respiratory and hearing protection, as well as

suitable gloves, when working with this tool.

• Keep hands out of path of saw blade

• Do not operate saw without guards in place

• Do not perform any operation freehand

• Never reach around saw blade

• Use a push-stick for ripping narrow work

• Turn off tool and wait for saw blade to stop before moving workpiece or changing

settings

• Disconnect power before changing blade or servicing

• Return carriage to full rear position after each crosscut operation

• Use saw-blade guard and riving knife (spreader) for every operation where required,

including through-sawing

Switching on and off

IMPORTANT: Before plugging the project saw into mains power, press the OFF button to

ensure the saw will not switch on immediately when plugged in.

• To switch the saw ON, press the green On Switch (2) marked ‘ I’

• To switch the saw OFF, press the red Off Switch (1) marked ‘O’

Performing a rip cut

Note: In this mode the saw cuts in a ﬁxed position and the workpiece is moved in the same

way as a table saw.

1. Lock the saw in the rip position by rotating the Saw Head Mode Selector (6) to the lower

height position and moving the saw head until it locks in position. The saw head can be

moved by the Saw Head Handle (33) if at the rear of the tool into the locked position

2. Fit the Protractor Fence (43) to either the Parallel Fence Slot (29) or Short Parallel Fence Slot

(34) by sliding in with the Fence Lock Knob (48) loosened

3. Ensure the Parallel Guide Slot Pin (41) clicks into the either of the Parallel Guide Slots (27 or

36). Loosen the Angle Knob (44) and pull out Angle Release Switch (45) if necessary

4. Set the Protractor Fence to the depth required for the cut using the Metric or Imperial

Graduations (28 or 30)

5. Tighten both the Angle Knob and the Fence Lock Knob (48)

6. Switch on the tool (see ‘Switching the unit on and off’) and allow the Saw Blade (11) to

reach full speed

7. Holding the workpiece against the fence, slowly feed the workpiece into the saw (Image C)

8. Towards the end of the cut, use the Push Stick (51) to guide the workpiece so that your

hands do not enter the cut zone close to the Cut Line Indicator (8) (Image D)

9. Switch off the saw before removing and replacing the workpiece and remove the mains

cable from the mains socket when the job is completed

Note: The Push Stick should be stored with the saw after use. It slots into the Push Stick

Storage (50) of the base or hanged from the side of the Workcentre TWX7 for storage. When

the module is removed from the Workcentre store the Push Stick with the module.

Performing a crosscut or mitre cut

Note: In crosscut and mitre cut mode, the workpiece is ﬁxed and the saw moves across the

workpiece as it cuts.

1. In crosscut and mitre cut modes, turn the Saw Head Mode Selector (6) to the Saw Head

Release Position (20) so the saw head can move along the Double Bar (21)

2. If the Cut Line Indicator (8) does not indicate the centre of the cut correctly after cutting,

adjust with a screwdriver

3. Fit the Protractor Fence (43) to the Cross Cut Fence Slot (25) by sliding in with the Fence

Lock Knob (48) loosened

4. Set to the required angle using the Angle Click Stops (47) and Angle Guide (46). Loosen the

Angle Knob (44) and pull out the Angle Release Switch (45) to change the angle

5. Tighten the Angle Knob and Fence Lock Knob. If an angle is required other than a click stop

position keep the Angle Release Switch pulled as you tighten the Angle Knob

6. Place the workpiece on the table against the Protractor Fence

7. Fit the Clamp (42) to the clamp socket in the Protractor Fence. Lower the Clamp Lever (40)

and adjust the Clamp Foot Height to secure the workpiece with the Clamp Knob (39). As you

adjust the clamping force it helps secure the Clamp in the Protractor Fence (Image E)

8. The Clamp Lever can now be used for easy replacing of workpieces of the same thickness

9. Switch on the tool (see ‘Switching on and off’) and allow the Saw Blade (11) to reach full

speed

10. Using the Handle (5), slide the saw into the workpiece (Image F)

11. Once the cut is complete, slide the saw back to the starting position

12. Switch off the saw before removing and replacing the workpiece and remove the mains

cable from the mains socket when the job is completed

Maintenance

WARNING: ALWAYS disconnect from the power supply before carrying out any

inspection, maintenance or cleaning.

Riving knife

• Ensure the Riving Knife (14) is ﬁtted and in perfect working condition. If it requires

replacement, remove the 2 Riving Knife Screws (15) and carefully remove and replace using

the underside slot of the saw.

Guard

• Always ensure the Guard (10) is operating normally. Not overly stiff or loose. Check the

Guard Pivot (16) is correctly tensioned to provide smooth movement of the guard. Operate

the Guard Lever (4) to allow the Guard to move and use the Guard Raising Point (9) to lift

just as a workpiece would to make sure it is functioning correctly. Clean and lubricate the

Guard Pivot if necessary.

Blade maintenance

• Regularly check the Saw Blade (11) is free from a build-up of gum resins or sawdust. If

necessary clean with a general purpose thin lubricating and penetrating maintenance spray

or mineral turpentine

• Regularly check the Saw Blade for sharpness and that it is not buckled or otherwise

damaged. A blunt or buckled blade places excessive load on the motor and gearbox

assembly, and will affect the quality of cut

Replacing the saw blade

Note: A replacement Saw Blade (11) for this saw is available from your Triton dealer.

• Never ﬁt high speed steel blades or abrasive discs. Fitting of other purpose or different-

sized blades will void the warranty

• Do not ﬁt inferior blades. Regularly check the blade is ﬂat, sharp and free of cracks or

defects

1. Lock the saw in rip cut position, see ‘Performing a rip cut’

2. Loosen the screw, keeping the Blade Bolt Cover Screw (12) in place (Image G)

3. Raise the Blade Bolt Cover (13) to access the Blade Bolt

4. Depress the Spindle Lock Button (19) and use the Saw Blade Hex Key (56) supplied to

loosen and remove the Blade Bolt (Image I)

5. Lift the ﬂange off the spindle and set aside

6. Place the saw on its side and carefully slide the Saw Blade out through the aperture at the

bottom of the blade housing (Image G)

Note: it may help to use a slotted screwdriver to lift the blade off the shaft.

7. Carefully slide the new Saw Blade in through the bottom of the blade housing and position it

on the shaft, ensuring the direction of rotation arrows on the blade are facing the same way

as the direction arrows on the guard (Image J)

8. Reﬁt the ﬂange onto the spindle, then reﬁt the blade bolt

9. Check that the blade is seated properly, then depress the Spindle Lock Button and tighten

the bolt ﬁrmly with the Saw Blade Hex Key

10. Reﬁt the Blade Bolt Cover (13)

Throat Plate

• The Throat Plates (23 & 32) cover the throat channel that the saw moves along. If either

Throat Plate becomes damaged, purchase and ﬁt a replacement before using the saw

• The left and right side can be replaced individually and either side can be accessed by

simply moving the saw mechanism to the opposite side. The part needed is identical for

the left or right side. Simply unscrew the existing plate and replace. It is important not to

over-tighten as the plate may warp. For best results, tighten by hand

General inspection

• Regularly check that all the ﬁxing screws are tight

• Inspect the supply cord of the tool, prior to each use, for damage or wear. Repairs should

be carried out by an authorised Triton service centre. This advice also applies to extension

cords used with this tool

Jammed accessories handling

• Ensure the power to the Project Saw is OFF before attempting to handle any jammed

materials or accessories

• Use protective gloves and be careful of the blade’s sharp teeth and/or the sharp edges of

the jammed material or accessory

• Once the jammed material or accessory has been removed safely, test the Project Saw by

running it brieﬂy to see if normal operation can continue

• If the Project Saw runs smoothly, regular operation may continue

Cleaning

• Keep your tool clean at all times. Dirt and dust will cause internal parts to wear quickly, and

shorten the machine’s service life. Clean the body of your machine with a soft brush, or dry

cloth. If available, use clean, dry, compressed air to blow through the ventilation holes

• Clean the tool casing with a soft damp cloth using a mild detergent. Do not use alcohol,

petrol or strong cleaning agents

• Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts

• Do not allow the Dust Bag (54) to become more than three-quarters full before emptying

Lubrication

• Slightly lubricate all moving parts at regular intervals with a suitable spray lubricant

Brushes

WARNING: Internal parts must be replaced by a trained service engineer. Incorrect ﬁtting of

parts can be highly dangerous and may damage or even destroy the tool.

• Over time the carbon brushes inside the motor may become worn

• Excessively worn brushes may cause loss of power, intermittent failure, or visible sparking

• If you suspect that the brushes may be worn, have them replaced at an authorised Triton

service centre

Storage

• Store this tool carefully in a secure, dry place out of the reach of children

Disposal

Always adhere to national regulations when disposing of power tools that are no longer

functional and are not viable for repair.

WAARSCHUWING: Bij een geluidsintensiteit van 85 dB(A) of hoger is het dragen van

gehoorbescherming en het limiteren van de blootstellingstijd vereist. Bij oncomfortabel

hoge geluidsniveaus, zelfs met het dragen van gehoorbescherming, stopt u het gebruik

van de machine onmiddellijk. Controleer de pasvorm en het geluiddempingsniveau van de

bescherming.

WAARSCHUWING: Blootstelling aan trilling resulteert mogelijk in gevoelloosheid, tinteling en

een vermindert gripvermogen. Langdurige blootstelling kan leiden tot chronische condities.

Limiteer de blootstellingsduur en draag anti-vibratie handschoenen. Vibratie heeft een grotere

Algemene veiligheid

WAARSCHUWING: Bij het gebruik van elektrische machines horen basis veiligheidsvoor-

WAARSCHUWING: Wanneer de beschermende uitrusting niet gedragen wordt is de kans

10 - Sluit gereedschap op een stof-ontginningssysteem aan – Wanneer de machine is

voorzien van een stofpoort, sluit u deze op een ontginningssysteem aan

11 - Misbruik het stroomsnoer niet – Trek nooit aan het stroomsnoer om de stekker uit het

stopcontact te halen. Houdt het stroomsnoer uit de buurt van warmte, olie en scherpe

machine controle en een kleinere kans op het buigen en breken

- Volg smeerinstructies op

- Controleer stroomsnoeren regelmatig op beschadiging en laat deze bij een

geautoriseerd service center repareren

- Laat stroomsnoeren bij een geautoriseerd service center vervangen

- Houdt handvaten schoon, droog en vrij van olie en vet

WAARSCHUWING: Velen ongelukken worden veroorzaakt door slecht onderhouden machines

15 - Ontkoppel machines van de stroombron – Wanneer niet in gebruik, voor onderhoud en

bij het vervangen van accessoires ontkoppelt u de machine van de stroombron

16 - Verwijder sleutels – Maak van het controleren op gereedschapssleutels een gewoonte

17 - Voorkom onnodig starten – Zorg ervoor dat de aan-/uitschakelaar bij het aansluiten op

de stroombron, het plaatsen van een accu of het vervoeren in de uit-positie staat

18 - Het gebruik van buiten verlengsnoeren – Wanneer gereedschap buiten gebruikt

WAARSCHUWING: Gebruik de machine niet met een defecte aan-/uitschakelaar. De

schakelaar hoort voor gebruik gerepareerd te worden

21 - Laat uw machine te allen tijde door een gekwaliﬁceerd persoon repareren – Laat uw

WAARSCHUWING: Maak bij onderhoud enkel gebruik van identieke vervangende onderdelen

22 - Stekkers horen overeen te komen met het te gebruiken stopcontact – Stekkers

mogen niet aangepast worden. Gebruik geen adapters op geaarde machines.

Overeenkomende stekkers en stopcontacten verminderen de kans op elektrische schok

23 - Indien het onvermijdelijk is elektrisch gereedschap te gebruiken in een vochtige

omgeving, gebruik dan een energiebron met een aardlek beveiliging (Residual

Currency Device). Het gebruik van een RCD vermindert het risico op een elektrische

schok

WAARSCHUWING: Wanneer de machine in Nieuw-Zeeland gebruikt wordt, met een lekstroom

van 30 mA of lager, is het gebruik van een aardlekschakelaar aanbevolen

WAARSCHUWING: Voordat u de machine op de stroombron aansluit controleert u of het

voltage van de stroombron overeenkomt met het voltage op het gegevensplaatje op de

machine. Een stroombron met een hogere spanning kan zorgen voor ernstige verwondingen

aan de gebruiken en schade aan de machine. Een stroombron met een lagere spanning kan de

motor beschadigen. Plug de stekker bij twijfel niet in de stroombron.

Gepolariseerde stekkers (enkel voor Noord-Amerika) Voor het verminderen van het risico op

elektrische schok, is de eenheid voorzien van een gepolariseerde stekker (Een blad is breder

dan de andere). De stekker past slechts op één manier in een gepolariseerd contactpunt.

Wanneer de stekker niet volledig in het contactpunt past, draait u de stekker om. Wanneer de

stekker nog steeds niet past, neemt u contact op met een gekwaliﬁceerd elektricien. De plug

mag in geen enkele manier aangepast worden.

Triton laminaatzaag veiligheid

WAARSCHUWING: De maximale snelheid van het zaagblad dient minimaal zo hoog te zijn

als de onbelaste snelheid van de machine. Accessoires die sneller draaien dan de maximale

snelheid breken mogelijk

WAARSCHUWING: Ontkoppel de machine van de stroombron voordat accessoires wisselt

en/of onderhoud uitvoert

WAARSCHUWING: Bij het hanteren van zaagbladen is het dragen van beschermende

handschoenen aanbevolen. Zo voorkomt u de kans op persoonlijk letsel

• Zaag geen meerdere werkstukken tegelijkertijd. Opgestapelde en achter elkaar

liggende werkstukken kunnen niet voldoende ondersteund worden en bewegen mogelijk

tijdens het zagen

• Zorg ervoor dat de machine op een stevig en plat oppervlak geplaatst/gemonteerd

is, om de kans op beweging tijdens het zagen te voorkomen

• Zorg ervoor dat het werkstuk juist ondersteund wordt. Het gebruik van externe

klemmen en geleiders is aanbevolen om afwijking van het zaagpad te voorkomen

• Bij het bewerken van grote werkstukken is het gebruik van schragen of

verlengtafels voor het ondersteunen van het werkstuk aanbevolen

• Houdt omstanders tijdens het gebruik van de machine op een minimale afstand van

10 meter. Gebruik omstanders niet voor het geven van extra ondersteuning

• Het afgezaagde deel van het werkstuk dient na de zaagsnede vrij van de machine

af te kunnen bewegen

• Laat het zaagblad volledig op snelheid komen voordat u de zaagsnede begint

• Gebruik wanneer nodig drukelementen om de beweging van het werkstuk te

voorkomen. Gebruik klemmen om het werkstuk vast te zetten

• De machine is enkel geschikt voor het zagen van hout, synthetisch hout en

soortgelijke materialen. De machine is niet compatibel met zaagbladen die ontworpen

zijn voor het zagen van andere materialen als glas en metaal

• Controleer voor gebruik of het werkstuk compatibel is met de machine en vrij is van

vreemde voorwerpen als spijkers en schroeven. Gebruik geen overmatig gebogen of

kromgetrokken werkstukken. Bij het zagen van licht gebogen/kromgetrokken werkstukken

dienen de geleider en het tafelblad in contact blijven

• Houdt het werkoppervlak te allen tijde vrij van stof, zaagsel en vuil. Controleer het

tafeloppervlak voor elk gebruik op voorwerpen die de machine mogelijk hinderen

Terugslag

Let op: Terugslag is een plotselinge reactie op een vastlopend, geforceerd of een foute

uitlijning van het zaagblad, waardoor de zaag uit het materiaal omhoog, naar de gebruiker

wordt geschoten. Terugslag kan de hand(en) van de gebruiker tevens in het zaagblad trekken

wat resulteert in ernstig letsel

WAARSCHUWING: Terugslag is het gevolg van misbruik en/of onjuiste gebruiksprocedures

of –omstandigheden, en kan voorkomen worden door het volgen van de volgende

voorzorgsmaatregelen:

a) Gebruik de zaagmachine te allen tijde met het spouwmes. Verwijder het spouwmes

NOOIT waar de breedte van de zaagsnede achter het zaagblad kleiner wordt

b) Gebruik geen beschadigde of botte bladen. Gebruik een zaagblad wat geschikt is voor

het uit te voeren werk

c) Zorg ervoor dat de geleider te altijd parallel op het zaagblad staat. Wanneer de

geleider naar het zaagblad toe kantelt kan het in contact komen met het zaagblad

d) Gebruik de parallelgeleider niet tegelijkertijd met verstekmeter. Dit leidt mogelijk tot

ernstige terugslag en persoonlijk letsel

e) Ben uiterst voorzichtig bij het zagen van grote panelen. Grote werkstukken dienen

voldoende ondersteund te worden aan zowel de voor- als achterzijde van de zaagtafel

f) Zaag geen ronde werkstukken of werkstukken die niet plat op de tafel kunnen

liggen. Voorkom gedraaid hout of hout met knopen

g) Zaag geen nat hout. Nat hout zorgt voor wrijving tegen het zaagblad. Nat zaagsel kan

op het zaagblad ophopen wat de kans op terugslag vergroot

h) Houd het werkstuk te allen tijde stevig met beide handen vast en plaats uw handen/

armen om de kans op terugslag te minimaliseren

i) Blijf uit de baan van het zaagblad. Positioneer uw lichaam aan de linker of rechter

zijde van het zaagblad en niet in lijn met het zaagblad

j) Trek het werkstuk tijdens het zagen niet terug uit een roterend zaagblad. Wanneer u

een zaagsnede voor het einde dient te onderbreken, schakelt u de zaag uit en wacht u tot

het zaagblad volledig stilstaat voordat u het werkstuk verwijdert

Gebruiksdoel

Compacte zaagmachine met zowel vaste als schuivende zaagkop-fuctie, gemonteerd op

een dubbele staaf. Te gebruiken als TWX7 zaagmodule voor het Triton Workcenter 7 of als

onafhankelijke losse machine op een werkbank of vloer. Geschikt voor het zagen van natuurlijk

hout, kunstmatig hout en composietmaterialen waaronder laminaat en vloeren voor afkorten,

schulpen en verstekzagen.

Het uitpakken van uw gereedschap

• Pak uw toestel / gereedschap uit. Inspecteer het en zorg dat u met alle kenmerken en

functies vertrouwd raakt

• Controleer of alle onderdelen aanwezig zijn en in goede staat verkeren. Als er onderdelen

ontbreken of beschadigd zijn, zorg dan dat deze vervangen worden voor u dit toestel /

gereedschap gebruikt

WAARSCHUWING: Ontkoppel de machine van de stroombron voordat u accessoires

Samenstelling

1. Bevestig het handvat (5) met de handvatschroeven (53) door de schroefgaten (3 + 7)

Let op: Bij het gebruik van de zaag als module voor het TWX7 Workcenter bevestigd u deze

1. Bevestig de module uitlijningsschroeven (57) als deze niet bevestigd zijn

2. Bevestig de modulepinnen (59) door de modulerollers (58) en schroef tot de behuizing

van de cirkelzaag

3. Bevestig de module hoogte stelschroeven (60)

Opmerkingen:

• Een stofzuiger of ontginningssysteem kan op de stofpoort (18) aangesloten worden in

plaats van de stofzak (54) (dit voorziet superieure ontginning)

• Gebruik de machine nooit zonder het gebruik van een vorm van ontginning

• De stofzak dient tijdens gebruik elke 10-15 minuten geleegd te worden. Het stof is

mogelijk ontvlambaar en bevat mogelijk polyurethaan of lijnolie. Wanneer de zak niet

geleegd wordt, wordt het zaagsel mogelijk terug in het zaagmechanisme geduwd waar

het kan ontbranden. Neem de maatregelen van de fabrikant van het te zagen materiaal

in acht

Het zaagblad (11) is op de machine voor gemonteerd. Het is aangeraden te controleren of het

blad goed vast zit. Verwijs naar ‘Het vervangen van het zaagblad’ voor informatie betreft het

vastdraaien van de zaagbladbout

Controleer of de 2 keelplaten (23 + 32) in goede staat verkeerd

WAARSCHUWING: Wanneer één of beide keelplaten beschadigd is/zijn of ontbreekt/ontbreken

gebruikt u de zaag niet

Installatie op Workcenter 7

BELANGRIJK: Lees deze instructies en de instructies voorzien bij uw Triton Workcenter

volledig door

WAARSCHUWING: Houd modules te allen tijde met beide handen vast, neem een stabiele

positie aan, sta rechtop en voorkom onhandige bewegingen bij het installeren en uitnemen

van modules

BELANGRIJK: Zorg ervoor dat de zaagkop in positie vergrendelt is en gebruik de dubbele staaf

(21) waarop de machine gemonteerd is, om de module te zakken. Het ongecontroleerd zakken

kan resulteren in machine, module en Workcenter beschadiging en mogelijk persoonlijk letsel.

Plaats u hand niet waar een vallende module resulteert in persoonlijk letsel

Het uitlijnen van de zaagmodule

• Alle modules dienen verstelt te worden zodat deze evenwijdig aan het Workcenter frame

liggen, voor het verkrijgen van nauwkeurige resultaten. Alle tafelbladen zijn voorzien van

uitlijningsschroeven (57)

1. Plaats het zaagtafelblad in het Workcenter

2. Draai de drie hoogte stelschroeven (60) vast tot alle beweging tussen het tafelblad en het

Workcenter frame verdwenen is

3. Plaats een rechte rand over de hoeken, langs de uitlijningsschroeven en controleer voor

gaten

4. Verstel de uitlijningsschroeven tot beide zijden van de hoek evenwijdig liggen aan de

Workcenter frame

5. Herhaal voor de andere drie hoeken van het tafelblad en de enkele uitlijningsschroef in het

midden van de lange zijde van het tafelblad

6. Controleer of alle vier de hoeken van het tafelblad evenwijdig liggen aan het Workcenter

frame door de rechte rand over de hoeken te plaatsen, loodrecht op de lange en korte

zijden en diagonaal over de tafel. Fijn-verstel en controleer opnieuw wanneer nodig

Het gebruik van de machine op een werkbank op ander

oppervlak

Plaats de machine op een stevig oppervlak. Een rubberen anti-vibratie mat kan tussen de

machine en het werkoppervlak geplaatst worden om trilling te minimaliseren en beweging

tijdens gebruik op sommige oppervlakken te voorkomen

WAARSCHUWING: Het gebruik van de machine op een draagbare werkbank is mogelijk

gevaarlijk. Zorg ervoor dat de werkbank niet in kan zakken of om kan kiepen

Aansluiting op de netstroom

Bij het gebruik op een Workcenter7, sluit u de stekker van de machine op het contact van

het Workcenter aan zodat de machine verbonden is met de veiligheidsschakelaar van het

Workcenter. Het is aanbevolen gebruik te maken van een aardlekschakelaar, vooral bij buiten

gebruik. Bij het gebruik in Amerika gebruikt u een aardlekschakelaar genaamd een appliance

leakage current interrupter (ALCI)

Gebruik

BELANGRIJKE veiligheidsinformatie

• Bij het gebruik van deze machine is het dragen van de geschikte beschermende uitrusting,

waaronder werkhandschoenen, een stofmasker en gehoorbescherming aanbevolen

• Houd uw handen uit de buurt van het zaagblad

• Gebruik de machine niet zonder het gebruik van de beschermkappen

• Gebruik de machine niet uit de vrije hand

• Reik nooit onder de machine

• Gebruik een duwstok voor het zagen van kleine werkstukken

• Schakel de machine uit en wacht tot het zaagblad volledig stilstaat voordat

instellingen verandert

• Ontkoppel de machine van de stroombron voordat u het zaagblad vervangt en/of enig

onderhoud uitvoert

• Breng de machine volledig terug naar achteren na het maken van een afkortsnede

• Gebruik de zaagbladbeschermkap en het spouwmes wanneer vereist

Het in- en uitschakelen van de machine

BELANGRIJK: Voordat u de machine op de netstroom aansluit, controleert u of de machine in

de uit-stand staat om onmiddellijke inschakeling te voorkomen

• Om de machine in te schakelen drukt u op de groene aan-schakelaar (2), gemarkeerd

met ‘I’

• Om de machine uit te schakelen drukt u op de rode uit-schakelaar (1), gemarkeerd met ‘O’

Het maken van een schulpsnede

Let op: Bij deze functie functioneert de machine op een vaste positie en voert u het werkstuk in

dezelfde richting als op een tafelzaagmachine

1. Vergrendel de machine in de schulppositie door de zaagkop stand schakelaar (6) in de lage

kop positie te draaien en de zaagkop te bewegen tot deze in plaats vergrendelt. De zaagkop

kan beweegt worden door het zaagkophandvat (33), wanneer aan de achterkant van de

machine in de vergrendelpositie

2. Bevestig de gradenbooggeleider (43) op de parallelgeleider gleuf (29) of de korte

parallelgeleider gleuf (34) door deze in te schuiven met een losse geleider vergrendelknop

(48)

3. Zorg ervoor dat de parallelgeleider gleufpin (41) in één van de parallelgeleider gleuven (27

of 36) vastklikt. Draai de hoekknop (44) los en trek de hoek-verlosschakelaar (45) wanneer

nodig los

4. Stel de gradenbooggeleider met gebruik van de metrische of imperiale schaalverdeling (28

of 30) in de gewenste diepte

5. Draai de hoekknop en de geleider-vergrendelknop (48) vast

6. Schakel de machine in (Zie: ‘Het in- en uitschakelen van de machine’) en laat het zaagblad

(11) volledig op snelheid komen

7. Houdt het werkstuk tegen de geleider gedrukt en voed het werkstuk langzaam door het

zaagblad (Afbeelding C)

8. Geleid het werkstuk tegen het einde van de snede met behulp van de duwstok (51),

zodat uw handen uit de buurt van het zaaggebied, dicht bij de zaaglijnindicator (8) blijven

(Afbeelding D)

9. Schakel de machine uit voordat u het werkstuk verwijdert en ontkoppel de stekker van het

stopcontact wanneer het werk voltooid is

Let op: De duwstok kan na gebruik met de zaag opgeborgen worden. De duwstok is in de

opberggleuf (50) op de voet op te bergen, of aan de zijkant van het Workcenter TWX7 op te

hangen. Wanneer de module niet op het werkcenter bevestigd is, bergt u de duwstok op de

module op

Het maken van een afkort- of versteksnede

Let op: In afkort- en verstekstand is het werkstuk bevestigd en beweegt langs de lengte of

breedte van het werkstuk

1. In afkort- en verstekstand draait u de stand schakelaar (6) in de zaagkop verlospositie (20)

zodat de zaag over de dubbele staaf (21) kan schuiven

2. Wanneer de zaaglijnindicator (8) het midden van de snede na het zagen niet aanwijst, past u

deze met een schroevendraaier aan

3. Bevestig de gradenbooggeleider (43) op de afkortgeleider gleuf (25) door deze in te schuiven

met een losse geleider vergrendelknop (48)

4. Stel de gewenste hoek met gebruik van de hoek klikstops (47)

5. Draai de hoekknop en geleider vergrendelknop vast. Wanneer een hoek, anders dan klikstop,

vereist is, houdt u de hoek verlosschakelaar uitgetrokken terwijl u de hoekknop vastdraait

6. Plaats het werkstuk tegen de gradenbooggeleider op de werkbank

7. Bevestig de klem (42) op de bevestiging van de gradenbooggeleider. Verlaag de klemhendel

(40) en verstel de klemvoet hoogte om het werkstuk met de klemknop (39) vast te

zetten. Het verstellen van de klemdruk helpt bij het vergrendelen van de klem op de

gradenbooggeleider (Afbeelding E)

8. De klemhendel kan nu gebruikt worden voor een gemakkelijke vervanging van werkstukken

met dezelfde dikte

9. Schakel de machine in (Zie: ‘Het in- en uitschakelen van de machine’) en laat het zaagblad

(11) volledig op snelheid komen

10. Schuif de zaag met behulp van het handvat (5) door het werkstuk (Afbeelding F)

11. Wanneer de snede voltooid is, schuift u de zaag terug naar de start positie

12. Schakel de machine uit voordat u het werkstuk verwijdert en ontkoppel de stekker van het

stopcontact wanneer het werk voltooid is

Onderhoud

WAARSCHUWING: Ontkoppel de machine van de stroombron voordat u de machine

schoonmaakt of enig onderhoud uitvoert

Spouwmes

• Zorg ervoor dat het spouwmes (14) in uitstekende positie gemonteerd is. Wanneer het

spouwmes vervangen dient te worden, verwijderd u de 2 schroeven (15) en vervangt u het

spouwmes via de gleuf onder de machine

Beschermkap

• Zorg ervoor dat de beschermkap (10) normaal functioneert. Niet overmatig soepel of stijf.

Controleer of het scharnierpunt (16) juist gespannen is voor het verkrijgen van een soepele

beschermkapbeweging. Bedien de hendel (4) voor het bewegen van de beschermkapen

gebruik het verhogingspunt (9) voor het verhogen zoals een werkstuk doet, om juiste

werking te verzekeren. Het scharnierpunt dient regelmatig schoongemaakt en gesmeerd

te worden

Blad onderhoud

• Controleer regelmatig of het zaagblad (11) vrij is van afvalopbouw. Maak het zaagblad

wanneer nodig met een geschikte smerende onderhoudsspray of mineraal terpentine

• Controleer regelmatig of het zaagblad scherp is en vrij is van buigen, breuken en

andere beschadigingen. Een bot of gebogen zaagblad overbelast de motor en de

versnellingsbaksamenstelling en verslecht de zaagkwaliteit

Het vervangen van het zaagblad

Let op: Een vervangend zaagblad (11) is verkrijgbaar bij uw Triton handelaar

• Gebruik geen HSS bladen of schurende schijven. Het gebruik van zaagbladen met een

andere diameter ontgeldt de diameter

• Gebruik geen slechte kwaliteit zaagbladen. Controleer regelmatig of het blad scherp, vlak

en vrij van beschadigingen is

1. Vergrendel de machine in de schulpstand (Zie: ‘Het maken van een schulpsnede’)

2. Draai de schroef los terwijl u de bladbout afdekkingschroef (12) in plaats houdt

(Afbeelding G)

3. Verhoog de bladboutafdekking (13) voor het verkrijgen van toegang tot de bladbout

4. Druk de as-vergrendelknop (19) in en gebruik de inbegrepen inbussleutel (5^) voor het

losdraaien en verwijderen van de bladbout (Afbeelding I)

5. Neem de ﬂens van de as

6. Plaats de machine op de zij en schuif het zaagblad voorzichtig uit de machine via de gleuf

aan de onderkant van de bladbehuizing (Afbeelding G)

Let op: Het gebruik van sleufschroevendraaier helpt mogelijk bij het verwijderen van het

zaagblad van de as

7. Schuif het nieuwe zaagblad voorzichtig door de gleuf van de behuizing en plaats het

zaagblad op de as. Let bij het plaatsen van het nieuwe zaagblad op de rotatierichting,

aangeduid door de pijlen op het zaagblad en de beschermkap (Afbeelding G)

8. Plaats de ﬂens op de as en draai de bladbout vast (Afbeelding J)

9. Controleer of het blad juist op de as ligt en druk de as-vergrendelknop in zodat de

bladbout stevig met de inbussleutel vastgedraaid kan worden

10. Bevestig de bladboutafdekking (13)

Keelplaat

• De keelplaten (23 en 32) bedekken het keelkanaal waar de machine langs loopt. Wanneer

één van de of beide keelplaten beschadigd zijn, vervangt u deze voordat u de machine

gebruikt

• De linker en rechter zijde kunnen individueel vervangen worden en beide zijden zijn

toegankelijk door het mechanisme naar de tegenovergestelde zijde te schuiven. Schroef

de bestaande plaat simpelweg los en vervang deze. Het is belangrijk de plaat niet te

strak vast te draaien waar deze kan buigen. Voor het beste resultaat draait u de plaat

met de hand vast

Algemene inspectie

• Controleer regelmatig of alle bevestigingsmiddelen nog goed vast zitten. Door vibratie

kunnen ze na enige tijd los gaan zitten

• Inspecteer het stroomsnoer voor elk gebruik op slijtage en beschadiging. Reparaties

dienen uitgevoerd worden bij een geautoriseerd Triton service center. Dit geld tevens voor

verlengsnoeren, gebruikt met de machine

Schoonmaak

• Houd uw machine te allen tijde schoon. Vuil en stof doen de interne onderdelen snel slijten,

wat de levensduur aanzienlijk vermindert.

• Maak de machine met een zachte borstel of droge doek schoon. Gebruik wanneer

mogelijk zuivere, droge perslucht om door de luchtgaten te blazen

• Maak de behuizing met een vochtige doek en een licht schoonmaakmiddel schoon.

Gebruik geen alcohol, benzine of hardnekkig schoonmaakmiddel

• Gebruik geen bijtende stoffen voor het schoonmaken van plastic onderdelen

• De stofzak (54) dient geleegd te worden voordat deze driekwart vol zit

Smeren

• Smeer alle bewegende onderdelen regelmatig met een geschikt smeermiddel

Koolstofborstels

WAARSCHUWING: Interne onderdelen dienen door een getrainde ingenieur vervangen te

worden. Het onjuist aansluiten van interne onderdelen is erg gevaarlijk en kan de machine

beschadigen

• Na verloop van tijd zullen de koolborstels in de motor verslijten.

• Bij overmatige slijtage van de borstels verliest de motor mogelijk vermogen, start het niet

meer, en/ of produceert het overmatig vonken.

• Wanneer u vermoedt dat de borstels versleten zijn, laat u deze bij een erkend

servicecenter vervangen

Opberging

• Berg de machine op een droge en veilige plek, buiten het bereik van kinderen op

Verwijdering

Bij de verwijdering van elektrische machines neemt u de nationale voorschriften in acht.

• Elektrische en elektronische apparaten en accu’s mogen niet met uw huishoudelijk afval

worden weggegooid

• Neem contact op met uw gemeente voor informatie betreffende de verwijdering van

elektrisch gereedschap
