IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an iron, basic precautions should always
be followed, including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING
• This appliance is intended for household use only.
• Only use this appliance indoors and for
ironing textile items in accordance with this
Instructions Manual.
• In an emergency, immediately unplug
the plug from the wall socket.
• Unplug the plug from the wall socket outlet after each use. Don’t let the
plug connected to the wall socket outlet while the appliance is not used.
DANGER!
• Never immerse any part of the appliance in water or any other liquids.
• This appliance must ONLY be connected to a grounded wall socket
outlet. We recommend FI circuit breakers, NEVER use a portable socket
outlet, a multi-way adaptor or any other extension device. The plug
must be easily accessible in case of emergency.
• The iron soleplate and steam jet are very hot. DO NOT iron or apply
steam to clothing while it is being worn.
• This appliance produces heat. Keep hands and body away from iron
soleplate and steam jet while in use – they will be HOT. Contact with
hot metal parts, hot water or steam may cause burns. Take care when
returning steam iron to the iron rest.
• CONTACT WITH PRESSURIZED STEAM CAN CAUSE SEVERE BURNS.
WARNING!
• Never leave the appliance unattended
while switched on.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• This appliance is not intended for use by
children, or persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capacity, or lack of
experience, unless they are supervised by
a person responsible for their safety. This
1. Only use an iron for its intended use.
2. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
immerse the iron in water or other liquids.
3. Always turn the iron OFF before plugging or
unplugging the iron from the electrical outlet.
Never pull on the cord to disconnect the iron
from the electrical outlet; instead, grasp the
plug and pull on the plug to disconnect the iron.
4. Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces. Let the
iron cool completely before putting the iron
away. Coil the cord loosely around the iron
when storing.
5. Always disconnect the iron from the electrical
outlet before filling the iron with water,
emptying the water from the iron, and when
the iron is not in use.
6. Do not operate the iron with a damaged cord
or in the event the iron has been dropped or
damaged. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do
not disassemble the iron. Take it to a qualified
serviceman for examination and repair.
Incorrect assembly might result in a risk of
electric shock when the iron is used after
reassembly.
7. Close supervision is required for any appliance
used by or near children. Do not leave the iron
unattended while the iron is connected or on
an ironing board.
8. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts,
hot water, or steam. Use caution when you turn
a STEAM IRON upside down - there might be
hot water in the reservoir.
9. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate an iron
on the same circuit with another high wattage
appliance.
10. If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a
cord with an ampere rating equal to or greater
than the maximum rating of the iron shall be
used. A cord rated for less amperage can
result in a risk of fire or electric shock due to
overheating. Care shall be taken to arrange the
cord so that it cannot be pulled or be tripped
over.

Installing your steam station
• Remove the appliance from the box using the handle (19) and place it
so that it is level, on a at, stable and re-resistant surface.
• Fix the cable holder (6) on the ironing board and slide the steam hose into
it (3) (only available with certain models. This can also be obtained at
www.laurastar.com or from an approved Laurastar retailer).
Which water should be used?
Your Laurastar has been designed for use with tap water. However, we
recommend using the lter cartridge provided in order to extend the
service life of your Laurastar.
NOTICE: Never use additives (e.g. perfumed water), water
containing chemical products or water from tumble dryers as
these products will have a detrimental effect on the function of
your Laurastar.

Storing your steam station
• Switch off the appliance by pressing the On/Off switch (7) and unplug
the plug (15) from the outlet.
WARNING! Leave the appliance to cool for at least
2 hours before storing.
• When the appliance is completely cooled, place the insulating mat (5),
followed by the iron (2), onto the appliance.

• Wrap the electric cable (16) around the appliance. If your model
includes the automatic winding mechanism (18) (only available on
certain models), pull on the electric cable to trigger automatic winding.
Wrap the steam hose (3) around the appliance.

• You can leave water in the boiler until the appliance is next used.
Installation and storage

of supervision or training.
• Always place the iron on a at, stable
and re-resistant surface. Never rest the
iron on the ironing board cover or clothes.
To avoid risk of re, ensure that the iron
is placed on the iron rest.
• Take care when removing and setting down the protective soleplate
after use. Place the hot soleplate on the heat-resistant iron rest.
• NOT DRINKING WATER.
DO NOT drink ltered water. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF
CHILDREN.
DO NOT ingest the demineralization granules in the
lter cartridge. The cartridge may be disposed with
household waste.
CAUTION!
• Before ironing the garment/fabric, follow the instructions shown on the label.
• Extremely delicate fabrics (including mohair, cashmere, velvet and
angora) may be damaged if contact is made with the hot protective
soleplate. Iron the fabric (with soleplate attached) at a distance while
diffusing steam.
• Do not use the appliance if it has been
damaged in a fall, shows visible signs of
damage, or has a faulty steam hose or
electric cable. To avoid the risk of electric
shock, do not open or disassemble the
appliance. Contact an authorized Laurastar
Customer Service representative for
information on repair. Incorrect reassembly
can cause a risk of electric shock when the
appliance is used.
• DO NOT operate the appliance without water.
• Never open the drain screw during operation.
When the appliance is completely cooled,
unscrew the drain screw with care: pressurized
steam that is present will begin to escape
after a few turns, posing a risk of burns.
• DO NOT attempt to insert objects into the openings of the appliance.
If water or a foreign body enters the appliance, immediately unplug
the iron, and contact an authorized Laurastar Customer Service
representative.
• To avoid risk of electric shock, DO NOT pull electric cable from the wall
socket – take a rm hold of the plug and remove it.
• Position the electric cable and the steam hose so that they cannot be
pulled or caught to avoid a tripping hazard.
• Environmental information and waste disposal measures: Keep
the box in which your appliance was packed in a safe place for future
use (transport, servicing, etc.). DO NOT dispose of the used appliance
with normal household waste! Ask your municipal or local authorities
about appropriate environmentally-friendly disposal facilities.

Steam principle
Perfect ironing requires diffusion of steam across the fabric, in order to
relax the bres, and drying to x them in place. Creases can only be
completely removed if these conditions are present. For best results, rst
iron the item with steam and then iron it again without steam, thereby
enabling the iron to dry the fabric.
Two steam modes
For the best possible ironing result, we offer two modes of steam ironing:
• STEAM mode (12): by pressing on one of the 2 STEAM buttons
(12), you release a jet of steam from the iron. Press several times for
multiple jets of steam.

• PULSE mode (13) (only on certain models): activate the PULSE
mode (13) by setting the button to ON, then hold down the STEAM
button (12) to obtain continuous small jets of steam. To deactivate
PULSE mode, set the button to OFF. You can then use STEAM mode
normally.

• To stop the steam, release the STEAM button (12).
Advice: to improve the quality of ironing and increase the autonomy of
your appliance, iron the fabric once using steam, then a second time
without steam to dry the fabric.
Protective soleplate (10)
The protective soleplate is indispensable for dark-coloured fabrics
that can become shiny and delicate fabrics such as silk, which have a
tendency to stick to the iron. How to use the protective soleplate:
• First place the point of the iron (2) at the front of the protective soleplate
(10) and lower the iron to x it in place in the soleplate.

• Wait approximately 1 minute for the soleplate to reach the correct
temperature.

CAUTION: Always ll the water reservoir completely for best
performance.
NOTICE: Operating the appliance without water can damage the
appliance and will void any limited warranties provided with
your appliance.
Filling
• Lift the cover of the water reservoir and remove the reservoir by
pulling on the cover. Insert the lter cartridge (17) provided and ll
with tap water.

• Replace the reservoir (4) by lifting the cover, then close.
Switching on your appliance
• Plug in the iron.
• Press the On/Off switch (7); the white indicator light will ash for
3-6 minutes.

• When the white indicator light stops ashing, the appliance is ready.
NOTE: For your comfort and safety, your Laurastar steam station
will switch off after 10 minutes of not being used.
NOTE: Before ironing, or after an extended break, press the iron’s
steam button 2 or 3 times, while pointing it away from the clothes.
This will release any condensation from the iron and prevent
water marks on the clothes.
WARNING: Do not point the iron at people or pets while
using vertical steam.

Maintenance
WARNING: The appliance should be UNPLUGGED, OFF
and COLD before cleaning the appliance. Switch off
and unplug the appliance from the outlet. Allow your
appliance to cool down for at least 2 hours. It is preferable to
clean the appliance BEFORE use.
NOTICE! Only rinse the appliance with water. NEVER use
descaling products or other chemical products.
Cleaning the iron
If the iron’s soleplate is dirty, use our soleplate cleaning mat in accordance
with the instructions. This can be obtained at www.laurastar.com or from
your approved Laurastar retailer.

Stubborn stains can be cleaned using an abrasive dishwashing sponge.
After having completed this operation, remove the aluminium oxide
present under the soleplate by cleaning it with a damp cloth.

Indicator light for changing the lter cartridge (8)
A red indicator light signals that the lter cartridge needs to be changed
(17).
Please drain the appliance at the same time.

• Lift the cover of the water reservoir and remove the reservoir by pulling
on the cover. Drain the water and remove the lter cartridge (17).

• Insert a new lter cartridge (17) (available at www.laurastar.com or
from an approved Laurastar retailer) and ll the water reservoir.

• Finally, validate the change by pressing the change cartridge switch (8).
Filling
• To remove the protective soleplate (10), pull on the tab and remove the
iron while it is still hot.

WARNING: The protective soleplate and the iron are hot!
Use caution when you remove the protective soleplate.
NOTICE: ALWAYS remove the protective soleplate after use.
Advice
For mohair, cashmere, velvet, angora: do not allow the fabric to make
contact with the protective soleplate (10). Iron the fabric at a distance of
approximately 10 cm / 4 in while diffusing steam, so that the fabric does
not become felted. Then take the item of clothing in your hand and shake
it to restore its volume.

For velvet, corduroy and jersey, we recommend steaming without the
protective soleplate (10) at around 2-3 cm / 1-2 in from the fabric, then
levelling out by hand.
Vertical smoothing out
Suspend the item of clothing on a hanger. Moving the appliance from the
top to the bottom, lightly touch the fabric with the appliance outputting
small jets of steam. Note: Almost all fabrics smooth out easily, with
the exception of cotton, linen and certain silks. If a fabric is difcult to
smooth out, place it on the ironing board and iron it normally.

WARNING: Do not iron or vertical steam clothes that are
being worn. Do not use vertical steam in the direction of
people or pets.
10 cm
Low water indicator light (9) and audible alarm
A warning tone sounds and a red indicator light lights up to signal that
there is no water left in the reservoir (4).
You can ll the reservoir without rst switching off your appliance.
To ll the reservoir (4)
• Lift the cover of the water reservoir and remove the reservoir by pulling
on the cover. Fill it with water from the tap.

• Replace the reservoir (4) with the cover raised, then close the cover.

Problems and solutions
Before calling the Laurastar Customer Service department, please check the following points:
Return to the Customer Service department
Switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug. Locate your purchase contract, invoice or receipt.
Telephone the Customer Service department and follow the instructions given.

Draining the appliance
In order to prolong the effectiveness of your appliance and avoid traces
of limescale, it is vital that you drain the appliance each time you change
the lter cartridge.
Drain the appliance in accordance with the following instructions:
• Check that the plug (15) has been disconnected and unplugged from
the outlet, the reservoir (4) has been removed and the iron (2) and
insulating mat (5) have been placed to one side.
• Shake the appliance energetically using circular movements, and place
it over a sink.

• Lift the protective tab on the drain screw (14) and unscrew this using
a small coin.

• Drain all the water contained in the appliance.
H
• Retighten the drain screw (14), replace the protective tab and ll the
water reservoir (4). You can now switch on your appliance again.

Laurastar international guarantee
The present guarantee does not, in any way, affect the
statutory rights of the user pursuant to the national legislation
in force governing the sale of consumer goods, including
the rights set out by Directive 2011 / 83 / EU of the European
Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on certain
aspects of sales and guarantees for consumer goods, or the
rights held by the user, by virtue of the sales contract, with
regard to the respective vendor. In the event that an appliance
sold by Laurastar contains manufacturing defects, Laurastar
shall be liable for the complete elimination of these defects
within the scope dened below.
1. Scope of cover
This guarantee only applies to products manufactured by or
on behalf of Laurastar, which may be identied by the brand,
the trade name or the Laurastar logo afxed to the product.
The guarantee does not apply to non-Laurastar products,
accessories or spare parts.
This guarantee shall be applicable only if the appliance
becomes unusable, or if its use is signicantly hindered, due
to a manufacturing defect, an assembly defect or a defect in
the material of the appliance, and if this defect was already in
existence when the appliance was supplied to the user.
It shall not be applicable, in particular:
• If the hindrance to use of the appliance is due to professional
use of the appliance, namely intensive use for which the
user receives monetary remuneration
• To normal wear and tear of the appliance’s components and
accessories
• To an intervention by a third party or a repairer not approved
by Laurastar
• To failure to comply with the instructions contained in the
Instruction Manual, specically the warnings concerning
start-up, use and maintenance of the appliance
• To non-compliant use.
The concept of “non-compliant use” notably includes damage
caused by:
• The fall of the appliance or of a component
• Blows or marks resulting from negligence
• Keeping the protective soleplate on the iron permanently
• Failure to rinse the boiler
• Use of water that does not comply with the specications
• Use of non-Laurastar products, accessories and spare parts
• The plug connected to the wall socket outlet permanently.
2. Entitlements held by the user
When a user asserts, in a manner compliant with the present
guarantee, an entitlement arising from said guarantee,
Laurastar shall be free to implement the most appropriate
method for eliminating the defect. This guarantee does
not grant the user any entitlement or any additional right;
in particular, the user may not claim for reimbursement of
expenses in relation to the defect, or compensation for any
consequential loss or damage. Moreover, transportation of
the appliance from the user’s place of residence to Laurastar's
premises, and return transportation, shall be carried out at the
user’s risk.
3. Term of validity
This guarantee is only valid for the entitlements that it accords
to the user and that the user has asserted against Laurastar
within the guarantee term.
The guarantee term is one year for countries that are not
members of the European Union and two years for European
Union Member States and Switzerland, calculated from the
date of delivery of the appliance to the user. If defects are
notied after the guarantee term has come to an end, or if the
documents or items of evidence that are necessary to assert
the defects in accordance with the present declaration are not
present until after the end of the guarantee term, the user shall
not hold any rights or entitlements by virtue of this guarantee.
4. Immediate notication of defects
When the user discovers a defect in the appliance, he / she
undertakes to communicate this to Laurastar without delay.
If the user does not do so, he / she shall lose the entitlements
afforded by the present guarantee.
5. Methods for asserting entitlements arising from the
present declaration
In order to assert the entitlements resulting from this
guarantee, the user must contact the Laurastar Customer
Service department (see page 8), either:
• by telephone
• by e-mail or
• by fax.
He / she must follow the instructions from the Customer Service
department and send, at his / her own risk:
• The appliance with the defect(s)
• A copy of the purchase contract, of the invoice, of the till
receipt or any other suitable document as evidence of the
date or place of purchase.
The Customer Service department is available to provide any
additional information on this subject.

If an appliance is returned to the Laurastar approved service
centre when there is no defect present, the user shall be liable
for the dispatch and return costs.
6. Laurastar after-sales service
If a Laurastar appliance is entrusted to the approved service
centre for work outside the provisions of this guarantee, or
after the guarantee term has come to an end, this shall be
deemed a "repair outside guarantee" and shall form the subject
of an invoice.

limited warranty for USA & Canada
Special clause only applicable in France:
In addition to the contractual guarantee detailed above,
customers benet from the legal guarantee for hidden defects
set out in Article 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code.
Special clause only applicable in China/Taiwan:
The above mentioned guarantee shall not be applicable to
any repair, change or return of a defective product occurred in
China/Taiwan, unless all the following conditions are satised:
1. A customer shall provide reasonable supporting documents,
such as formal commercial invoice and warranty card, etc.,
to prove that the product in question has been purchased
from an ofcial channel in China/Taiwan which is directly or
indirectly authorized by Laurastar; and
2. A compulsory certification sticker must be affixed to the
respective product by Laurastar with regard to its sale and
use in China/Taiwan.
Special clause only applicable in the Republic of Korea:
The above mentioned guarantee shall not be applicable to
any repair, change or return of a defective product occurred in
the Republic of Korea, unless all the following conditions are
satised:
1. A customer shall provide reasonable supporting documents,
such as formal commercial invoice and warranty card, etc.,
to prove that the product in question has been purchased
from an ofcial channel in the Republic of Korea which is
directly or indirectly authorized by Laurastar; and
2. A product in question shall be afxed with a Republic of
Korea compulsory certication identication.
The exclusion of the Republic of Korea from the International
Warranty is valid from June 2017.
Laurastar warrants its product to be free from defects in
materials and workmanship under normal customer use as
described in the Instruction Manual for 1 year from the date
of purchase as identied on the invoice or cash receipt. This
limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser and
is not transferable. Laurastar, at its option, will at no charge
repair or replace defective equipment during the period of this

customer service center. This limited warranty is the customer’s
exclusive remedy and applies only to new Laurastar products.
This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear,

of the appliance's components and accessories. Damage
caused by improper operation or storage, misuse or abuse,
unauthorized repair by non-Laurastar specialists, accident or
neglect, alteration, or connecting to a power source outside

any other non-domestic or household purpose is not covered
by this limited warranty. “Misuse or abuse” of the product
includes the use of the equipment for any purpose, or in any
manner, not in accordance with the instructions contained in

to, damage caused by the appliance or one of its components
falling to the oor, failure to rinse the water boiler, failure to
remove the protective soleplate, use of any liquid other than

and spare parts. Damage caused by any failure to follow the

If an appliance is returned to the Laurastar approved service
center when there is no defect present, the user shall be liable

• L’appareil doit être reposé/mis en attente
sur un support plat, stable et résistant au
feu. Ne jamais reposer le fer à repasser
sur la housse de repassage ou le linge. Pour
éviter tout risque d’incendie, reposer le fer à
repasser uniquement sur le repose-fer.
• Attention lors de la pose et de la dépose de la semelle protectrice
après utilisation. Placer la semelle chaude sur le repose-fer résistant
à la chaleur.
• L’entretien, les réparations et la maintenance de l’appareil doivent
être effectués UNIQUEMENT si l’appareil est éteint, froid et refroidi
pendant au moins 2 heures.
• Ne pas mettre le câble d’alimentation en
contact avec des surfaces chaudes. Laissez
refroidir complètement le fer avant de le
ranger.
• EAU NON-POTABLE.
NE PAS boire l’eau ltrée. Tenir hors de portée
des enfants.
NE PAS ingérer les granulés de déminéralisation
présents dans la cartouche. Elle peut être en
outre jetée avec les ordures ménagères.
ATTENTION!
• Les tissus extrêmement délicats (comme le mohair, le cashmire, le
velours et l’angora) peuvent être endommagés s’ils entrent en contact
avec la semelle protectrice chaude. Repasser le tissu (avec la semelle
fixée) à distance tout en diffusant de la vapeur.
• Ne pas utiliser l’appareil si celui-ci a été
endommagé lors d’une chute, s’il présente
des signes visibles de dégâts ou si le tube
vapeur ou le câble d’alimentation sont
défectueux. Faire intervenir uniquement
le Service Clients Laurastar autorisé
pour la remise en état de l’appareil. Un
réassemblage incorrect peut provoquer
un risque de décharge électrique lors
de l’utilisation de l’appareil.
• Ne pas mettre l’appareil en marche sans eau.
• Nettoyer l’extérieur de l’appareil avec un chiffon doux et humide.
NE PAS utiliser de solvants, d'huile ou d'essence !
Ne jamais ouvrir la vis de vidange en cours
de fonctionnement. Lorsque l’appareil est
complètement refroidi, dévisser la vis de
vidange avec précaution : la vapeur sous
pression existante commence à s’échapper
après quelques tours, risque de brûlures.
• NE PAS essayer d’insérer des objets dans les ouvertures de l’appareil.
En cas d’infiltration d’eau / de corps étranger dans l’appareil,
débrancher immédiatement la prise électrique et contacter un Service
Clients Laurastar autorisé pour la remise en état de l’appareil.
• NE PAS retirer le câble d’alimentation de la prise murale en tirant
dessus, mais saisissez fermement la prise électrique et retirez-la.
Risque de décharge électrique.
• Positionner le câble d’alimentation et le tube vapeur de telle sorte
qu'ils ne puissent pas être tirés ou accrochés. Assurez-vous également
que personne ne puisse se prendre les pieds dedans.
• Remarques concernant l’environnement et mesures d’élimination :
garder précieusement le carton d’emballage de votre appareil pour
une utilisation ultérieure (transport, révision etc.). Ne pas jeter
l’appareil usagé dans les déchets ménagers courants ! Se renseigner
auprès des services municipaux ou locaux des possibilités d’élimi-
nation correcte dans le respect de l’environnement.

• Cet appareil est destiné uniquement à l’usage dans un ménage privé.
• Utiliser cet appareil uniquement à l’intérieur
et pour le repassage de pièces textiles dans
le respect de ce mode d’emploi.
• En cas d’urgence, retirer immédiatement la
prise électrique de la prise murale.
• Débrancher la prise électrique de la prise murale après chaque
utilisation. Ne pas laisser la prise électrique branchée à la prise
murale lorsque l’appareil n’est pas utilisé.
• L’appareil ne doit être connecté qu’à une prise murale avec mise à
terre. Nous recommandons les commutateurs. La prise murale doit
être facilement accessible en cas d’urgence.
• La semelle du fer et le jet de vapeur sont très chauds, NE PAS repasser
ou appliquer de la vapeur sur des vêtements que des personnes
portent sur elles.
• Ne pas utiliser la vapeur verticale en direction de personnes ou d’animaux.
• L’appareil produit de la chaleur. Garder vos mains et votre corps loin
de la semelle du fer et du jet de vapeur durant l’utilisation – ils sont
CHAUDS. Prudence lorsque vous retournez un fer à vapeur.
• LE CONTACT AVEC DE LA VAPEUR SOUS PRESSION PEUTCAUSER DE

immerger le fer dans l’eau ou tout autre liquide.
3. Toujours mettre le fer hors tension (OFF) avant
de le brancher ou de le débrancher. Ne jamais
tirer sur le cordon pour débrancher le fer. Tirer
la fiche pour débrancher l'appareil.
4. Le cordon ne doit pas entrer en contact avec
des surfaces chaudes. Laisser le fer refroidir
complètement avant de le ranger. Enrouler le
cordon autour du fer sans serrer avant de ranger
l’appareil.
5. Toujours débrancher le fer pour le remplir d’eau,
le vider et lorsqu'il ne sert pas.
6. Ne pas utiliser le fer si son cordon est abîmé,
si l’appareil est tombé ou s’il est endommagé.
Afin d’éviter les risques d’électrocution, ne
pas démonter le fer. Confier l’inspection et la
réparation de l'appareil au personnel d’un centre
d’entretien qualifié. Un assemblage incorrect
peut provoquer un choc électrique au moment
de la remise en service.
7. Faire preuve d'une extrême vigilance lorsque
l’appareil est utilisé par un enfant ou à
proximité d'un enfant. Ne pas laisser le fer sans
surveillance s'il est branché ou s’il est posé sur
une planche à repasser.
8. Les pièces métalliques, l’eau chaude ou la
vapeur peuvent occasionner des brûlures. User
de prudence pour retourner le fer à vapeur, car
de l’eau brûlante peut s’écouler du réservoir.
9. Pour éviter toute surcharge du circuit, ne pas
brancher un autre appareil haute puissance sur
le même circuit.
10. Si l’emploi d'une rallonge se révèle absolument
nécessaire, utiliser un cordon dont l’ampérage
est égal ou supérieur à l’ampérage maximum
du fer. L’utilisation d’un cordon possédant un
ampérage inférieur présente un risque de
surchauffe pouvant conduire à un départ de feu
ou à un choc électrique. Veiller à placer le cordon
de telle manière qu’il ne puisse pas être tiré
inopinément, ni faire trébucher les personnes
passant à proximité de l’appareil.
IMPORTANTES CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ

ATTENTION : le réservoir d'eau doit OBLIGATOIREMENT être rempli
avec de l'eau pour que l'appareil fonctionne.
REMARQUE : la mise en chauffe sans eau peut endommager
l’appareil et invalide la garantie de votre centrale vapeur.
AVERTISSEMENT : ne pas utiliser la vapeur verticale en direction
de personnes ou d’animaux.
Remplissage
• Relevez le couvercle du réservoir d'eau et retirez-le en tirant sur le
couvercle. Y insérer la cartouche ltrante (17) fournie et remplir d'eau
du robinet.

• Remettez le réservoir (4) en place en levant le couvercle, puis
refermez-le.
Allumer votre appareil
• Branchez la prise électrique.
• Appuyez sur l’interrupteur principal (7), le témoin lumineux blanc
clignote pendant 3 à 6 minutes.

• Quand le témoin blanc cesse de clignoter, l'appareil est prêt.
NOTE : pour votre confort et votre sécurité, votre centrale vapeur
Laurastar s'éteint au bout de 10 minutes de non utilisation.
NOTE : avant de commencer le repassage ou après une pause
prolongée, pressez 2 ou 3 fois sur le bouton vapeur du fer à l'écart
du linge. Ceci an d'évacuer toute condensation du fer et d'éviter
des taches d'eau sur les vêtements.
ATTENTION : ne dirigez pas le fer vers des personnes ou
des animaux lorsque vous effectuez un défroissage vertical.

Installation de votre centrale vapeur
• Sortez l'appareil du carton avec la poignée (19) et posez-le à plat sur
une surface plate, stable et résistante au feu.
• Fixez le guide-l (6) sur la table, y glisser le tube vapeur (3) (disponible
uniquement sur certains modèles. Vous pouvez également l'obtenir sur
www.laurastar.com ou chez un revendeur agréé Laurastar).
Quelle eau utiliser ?
Votre Laurastar a été conçue pour fonctionner avec de l'eau du robinet. Il
est toutefois conseillé d'utiliser la cartouche ltrante fournie pour proter
pleinement et plus longtemps de votre Laurastar.
NOTE : N'utilisez jamais d'additifs (ex. eau parfumée), ni d'eau
contenant des produits chimiques, ni d'eau de récupération du
sèche-linge, car ces produits nuisent au bon fonctionnement de
votre Laurastar.

Rangement de votre centrale vapeur
• Éteignez l'appareil en appuyant sur l'interrupteur principal (7) et retirez
la prise électrique (15) de la prise murale.
AVERTISSEMENT ! Laissez l'appareil refroidir pendant
au moins 2h avant de le ranger.
• Placez le tapis isolant (5) sur la centrale ainsi que le fer (2). Il est
conseillé de bien remettre le tapis isolant avant le fer. Il vous protégera
mieux contre la chaleur lors du transport.

• Enroulez le câble d'alimentation (16) autour de l'appareil. Si votre
modèle comporte l'enrouleur automatique (18) (disponible uniquement
sur certains modèles), tirez sur le câble d'alimentation pour déclencher
l'enroulement automatique. Enroulez le tube vapeur (3) autour de
l'appareil.

• Vous pouvez laisser l’eau dans la chaudière jusqu’à la prochaine
utilisation.

• Pour retirer la semelle protectrice (10), tirez sur la languette et retirez
le fer encore chaud.

AVERTISSEMENT: la semelle protectrice et le fer sont
chauds !
REMARQUE : TOUJOURS enlever la semelle protectrice après
utilisation.
Conseil
Pour le mohair, cachemire, velours, angora : ne pas les mettre en contact
avec la semelle protectrice (10). Repassez le tissu à une distance
d’environ 10 cm / 4 in tout en diffusant de la vapeur, an de ne pas le
feutrer. Puis prenez le vêtement en main et agitez-le pour lui redonner
son volume.

Pour le velours, velours côtelé, jersey, il est conseillé de vaporiser sans
semelle protectrice (10) à 2-3 cm / 1-2 in du tissu, puis de l'égaliser à la main.
Défroissage vertical
Suspendez le vêtement sur un cintre. En faisant un mouvement de haut
en bas, touchez légèrement le tissu tout en donnant de petits jets de
vapeur. Remarque : presque tous les tissus se défroissent facilement, à
l’exception du coton, du lin et de certaines soies. Si un tissu se défroisse
difcilement, mettez-le sur la table et repassez-le normalement.

AVERTISSEMENT : ne pas repasser ou utiliser de la
vapeur verticale sur des vêtements que des personnes
portent sur elles. Ne pas utiliser la vapeur verticale en

Un avertisseur sonore retentit et un témoin lumineux rouge s'allume pour
signaler qu’il n’y a plus d’eau dans le réservoir (4).
Vous pouvez remplir le réservoir sans éteindre votre appareil au préalable.

• Relevez le couvercle du réservoir d'eau et retirez-le en tirant sur le
couvercle. Remplissez-le avec de l'eau du robinet.

Principe de la vapeur
Un repassage impeccable exige une diffusion de vapeur au travers du
tissu pour détendre les bres et un séchage pour les xer. C’est à cette
condition seulement que les plis seront totalement éliminés. Pour un
résultat optimal, faites un passage avec vapeur en avant et un passage
sans vapeur en arrière pour permettre au fer de sécher le tissu.
Deux modes vapeur
Pour effectuer au mieux votre repassage, nous vous proposons deux
modes de repassage vapeur :
• Mode VAPEUR (12) : Appuyez sur un des 2 boutons VAPEUR (12),
vous diffusez un jet de vapeur du fer. Appuyez plusieurs fois pour
plusieurs jets de vapeur.

• Mode PULSE (13) (uniquement sur certains modèles): activez le
mode PULSE (13) en positionnant le bouton sur ON, laissez le bouton
VAPEUR (12) appuyé pour obtenir des petits jets de vapeur en continu.
Pour désactiver le mode PULSE, positionnez le bouton sur OFF. Vous
pouvez utiliser le mode VAPEUR normalement.

• Pour arrêter la vapeur, relâchez le bouton VAPEUR (12).
Conseils : pour améliorer la qualité du repassage et augmenter
l’autonomie de votre appareil, repassez une fois le tissu avec la vapeur,
puis une seconde fois sans vapeur pour sécher le tissu.
Semelle protectrice (10)
La semelle protectrice est indispensable pour les tissus foncés qui
sont sensibles au lustrage et les tissus délicats, comme la soie, qui ont
tendance à coller au fer. Pour utiliser la semelle protectrice:
• Placez la pointe du fer (2) en premier à l’avant de la semelle protectrice
(10) et abaissez le fer pour le xer dans la semelle.

température.

Vidange de l'appareil
Pour prolonger l’efcacité de votre appareil et éviter les traces de
calcaire, vous devez impérativement le vidanger à chaque fois que vous
changez la cartouche ltrante.
Pour la vidange, conformez-vous aux instructions suivantes :
• Vériez que la prise électrique (15) soit débranchée, que le réservoir
(4) soit retiré et que le fer (2) et le tapis isolant (5) soient posés sur
le côté.
• Secouez énergiquement l'appareil par des mouvements circulaires et
placez-le au-dessus d'un évier.

• Soulevez la languette de protection de la vis de vidange (14) et
dévissez-la avec une piécette.

• Videz toute l'eau contenue dans l'appareil.

• Revissez la vis de vidange (14), replacez la languette de protection et
faites le plein du réservoir (4) d'eau.

AVERTISSEMENT : avant tout nettoyage, DÉBRANCHEZ,
ÉTEIGNEZ et laissez l’appareil REFROIDIR. Éteignez
l’appareil et débranchez la prise électrique de la prise
murale. Laisser votre appareil refroidir au moins durant 2 heures.
Le nettoyage s’effectue de préférence AVANT l'utilisation.
REMARQUE : Rincer uniquement l’appareil à l’eau. NE JAMAIS
utiliser de produits de détartrage ou d’autres produits chimiques.
Nettoyage du fer
Si la semelle du fer est sale, utilisez notre tapis pour nettoyer la semelle du
fer en suivant les instructions. Vous pouvez l’obtenir sur www.laurastar.com
ou chez votre revendeur agréé Laurastar.

Les taches récalcitrantes peuvent être nettoyées au moyen d’une éponge
abrasive pour casseroles. Après avoir effectué cette opération, éliminez
l’oxyde d’aluminium présent sous la semelle en la nettoyant au moyen
d’un chiffon humide.

Laurastar garantit son produit contre tout défaut de matériel
et de main-d’œuvre dans les conditions d’utilisation normale
telles que décrites dans le mode d’emploi. La garantie est d’un
an à partir de la date d’achat gurant sur la facture ou sur
le ticket de caisse. La présente garantie limitée s’applique
seulement à l’acheteur d’origine et n’est pas transférable.
Laurastar réparera ou remplacera gratuitement et à son
choix tout matériel défectueux pendant la période de cette
garantie limitée. Pour bénécier d’un service sous garantie, le
matériel endommagé devra être expédié ou remis à un centre
de service après-vente Laurastar agréé. La présente garantie
limitée est le seul recours du client et ne s’applique qu’aux
nouveaux produits Laurastar. La garantie limitée ne s’étend
pas à l’usure et à la détérioration normales, à l’usure du câble
d’alimentation électrique, à l’usure de la semelle ou à celle
des composants et accessoires de l’appareil. Elle ne couvre
pas les dommages causés par une utilisation ou un stockage
non conformes, une utilisation inadéquate ou abusive, une
réparation non autorisée effectuée par des spécialistes
non agréés Laurastar, ou consécutifs à un accident, une
négligence, une modication ou un branchement de l’appareil
à une source d’alimentation en dehors de la tension spéciée.
Le matériel utilisé à une n commerciale ou non domestique
n’est pas couvert par cette garantie limitée. Par “mauvaise
utilisation ou usage abusif” des produits, on entend
aussi l’utilisation du matériel à une fin et d’une manière
non conformes aux instructions spécifiées dans le Mode
d’emploi fourni avec le matériel. Les exemples de “mauvaise
utilisation ou d’usage abusif” comprennent notamment
mais sans limitation aucune des dommages causés par la
chute de l’appareil ou de l’un de ses composants sur le sol,
le non rinçage du réservoir d’eau, le non enlèvement de la
semelle protectrice après emploi, l’emploi d’un liquide autre
que l’eau, le fait de ne pas débrancher la prise électrique de
la prise murale après utilisation et l’utilisation de produits,
d’accessoires et de pièces détachées non fournis par
Laurastar. La présente garantie limitée ne couvre pas les
dommages causés par le non-respect des consignes stipulées

les instructions données par le Service Clients et envoyer à
votre propre risque :
• l’appareil
• une copie du contrat d’achat, de la facture, du ticket de
caisse, ou toute autre information s’y rapportant.
Vous trouverez d’autres adresses d’importateurs et de
partenaires ofciels d’assistance clients sur www.laurastar.com.
En cas de retour d’un appareil ne présentant pas de défaut au
centre de service après-vente agréé Laurastar, l’utilisateur
supportera les frais d’expédition et de retour.
En cas de remise d’un appareil Laurastar au centre de service
après-vente agréé pour des travaux entrepris en dehors des
dispositions de la présente Garantie Limitée, ou après l’écoulement
du délai d’une année de la Garantie Limitée, ceci sera considéré
comme "réparation hors du champ d’application de la garantie
limitée" et fera l’objet d’une facturation.
Garantie internationale de Laurastar
La présente garantie n’affecte en rien les droits légaux de
l’utilisateur au titre de la législation nationale en vigueur
régissant la vente de biens de consommation, y inclus les droits
prévus par la Directive 2011 / 83 / UE du Parlement Européen et
du Conseil du 25 octobre 2011 sur certains aspects de la vente
et des garanties des biens de consommation, ni les droits dont
dispose l’utilisateur, en vertu du contrat de vente, à l’égard
de son vendeur. Si un appareil commercialisé par Laurastar
comporte des défauts de fabrication, Laurastar prend en charge
l’élimination totale de ces défauts dans l’étendue définie
ci-après.
1. Étendue de la protection
La présente garantie s’applique uniquement aux produits
fabriqués par ou pour le compte de Laurastar qui peuvent être
identiés par la marque, le nom commercial ou le logo Laurastar
qui y est apposé. La garantie ne s’applique pas aux produits,
accessoires ou aux pièces détachées non Laurastar.
La présente garantie est valable uniquement lorsque l’appareil
devient inutilisable, ou que son utilisation est considérablement
entravée, en raison d’un défaut de fabrication, d’un défaut
d’assemblage ou d’un défaut dans la matière de l’appareil,
et si ce défaut existait déjà lors de la remise de l’appareil à
l’utilisateur.
Elle n’est pas valable, en particulier :
• lorsque l’entrave à l’utilisation de l’appareil est due à un
usage professionnel de l’appareil, à savoir un usage intensif
pour lequel l’utilisateur reçoit une rémunération pécuniaire
• à l’usure normale de ses composants et accessoires
• à une intervention de l’extérieur ou d’un réparateur non
agréé par Laurastar
• au non-respect des indications contenues dans le mode
d'emploi, plus particulièrement des avertissements
concernant la mise en route, l’utilisation et la maintenance
de l’appareil
• à un usage non conforme.
Sont notamment compris dans la notion «d’usage non
conforme» les dégâts causés par :
• la chute de l’appareil ou d’un composant
• les coups ou marques donnés par négligence
• la semelle protectrice gardée constamment sur le fer
• le non-rinçage de la chaudière
• l’utilisation d’eau non conforme
• l’utilisation de produits, accessoires et pièces détachées
non Laurastar
• la prise électrique connectée à la prise murale en permanence.
2. Prétentions de l’utilisateur
Lorsqu’un utilisateur fait valoir, de façon conforme à la
présente garantie, une prétention que cette dernière lui
accorde, Laurastar a le libre choix de mettre en œuvre le
mode d’élimination du défaut le plus approprié. La présente
garantie ne confère à l’utilisateur aucune prétention ni aucun
droit supplémentaire; en particulier, l’utilisateur ne pourra pas
réclamer le remboursement de frais en relation avec le défaut,
ni une indemnité pour d’éventuels dommages subséquents. Par
ailleurs, le transport de l’appareil du domicile de l’utilisateur
jusque chez Laurastar, ainsi que le transport de retour, se font
aux risques de l’utilisateur.
3. Durée de validité
La présente garantie est valable uniquement pour les
prétentions qu’elle accorde à l’utilisateur et que ce dernier
a fait valoir auprès de Laurastar durant le délai de garantie.
Le délai de garantie est d’1 an pour les pays non membres
de l'Union Européenne et de 2 ans pour les pays membres de
l'Union Européenne ainsi que la Suisse, dès la livraison de
l’appareil à l’utilisateur. Si des défauts sont annoncés après
l’échéance du délai de garantie ou si les documents ou preuves,
nécessaires pour faire valoir les défauts selon la présente
déclaration, ne sont présentés qu’après l’échéance du délai de
garantie, l’utilisateur n’aura aucun droit ni aucune prétention en
vertu de la présente garantie.
4. Avis immédiat des défauts
Lorsque l’utilisateur découvre un défaut de l’appareil, il est
tenu de le communiquer sans délai à Laurastar. Dans le cas
contraire, il perd les prétentions que la présente garantie lui
accorde.
5. Modalités d’exercice des prétentions qui découlent
de la présente déclaration
Pour faire valoir les prétentions qui découlent de la présente
garantie, l’utilisateur doit contacter le Service Clients Laurastar
(cf. page 20) soit :
• par téléphone
• par e-mail
• par fax.
• l'appareil qui présente le ou les défauts
• une copie du contrat d'achat, de la facture, du ticket de
caisse ou tout autre document apte à prouver la date ou le
lieu d'achat. Le Service Clients est à disposition pour tout
renseignement supplémentaire à ce sujet.

Si un appareil est retourné au centre de service agréé Laurastar
alors qu'il ne présente aucun défaut, les frais d'envois et de
retour sont à la charge de l'utilisateur.
6. Service après-vente Laurastar
Si un appareil Laurastar est coné au centre de service agréé
pour une intervention en dehors des clauses de garantie ou
après l’expiration du délai de garantie, celle-ci sera considérée
comme une «réparation hors garantie» et fera l’objet d’une
facture.
Clause spéciale valable uniquement pour la France:
Outre la garantie contractuelle exposée ci-dessus, les clients
bénécient de la garantie légale des vices cachés prévue aux
articles 1641 et suivants du Code Civil.

Wandsteckdose stecken, wenn sich das Gerät nicht in Gebrauch befindet.

• Tauchen Sie kein Geräteteil in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten ein.
• Das Gerät darf AUSSCHLIESSLICH nur an geerdete Wandsteckdosen
angeschlossen werden. Wir empfehlen FI-Schutzschalter. Verwenden Sie
NIEMALS eine fliegende Steckdose, eine Mehrfachsteckdose oder ein
sonstiges Verlängerungsgerät. Der Stecker muss im Notfall leicht
erreichbar sein.
• Die Bügeleisensohle und der Dampfstrahl sind sehr heiß. Wenn Sie
Kleidungsstücke bügeln / bedampfen, dürfen diese dabei NICHT von
einer Person am Körper getragen werden.
• Beim vertikalen Bedampfen den Dampf nicht auf Menschen oder Tiere richten.
• Das Gerät erzeugt Hitze. Halten Sie Ihre Hände und Ihren Körper
während der Benutzung von der Bügeleisensohle und vom Dampfstrahl
fern – beides ist HEISS. Die Berührung mit heißen Metallteilen, heißem
Wasser oder Dampf kann zu Verbrennungen führen. Beim Zurücklegen
des Dampfbügeleisens auf die Bügeleisenablage ist Vorsicht geboten.
• DER KONTAKT MIT UNTER DRUCK STEHENDEM DAMPF KANN
SCHWERE VERBRENNUNGEN HERVORRUFEN.
ACHTUNG !
• Eingeschaltetes Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt
lassen.
• Schalten Sie das Gerät immer aus, bevor
Sie den Stecker in die Wandsteckdose
stecken bzw. ihn herausziehen. Lassen
Sie das Gerät IMMER mindestens zwei
Stunden abkühlen, bevor Sie das Wasser
entleeren oder hineinfüllen.

• Dieses Gerät darf nicht von Kindern,

• Stellen Sie das Bügeleisen immer auf einer
flachen, stabilen und feuerfesten Fläche ab.
Stellen Sie das Bügeleisen NIEMALS auf dem
Bügelbezug oder auf der Kleidung ab. Stellen
Sie das Bügeleisen ausschließlich auf der Bügel
eisenablage ab, um Bränden vorzubeugen.
• Beim Abnehmen und Absetzen der Schutzsohle nach Gebrauch ist Vorsicht
geboten. Stellen Sie die heiße Sohle auf die hitze-beständige Bügeleisenablage.
• Eine Reinigung, Reparaturen sowie Instandhaltungs- und Wartungs-
arbeiten am Gerät dürfen NUR vorgenommen werden, wenn das Gerät
ausgeschaltet, kalt und mindestens zwei Stunden abgekühlt ist.
• Das Netzkabel nicht mit heißen Flächen
in Berührung bringen. Lassen Sie das
Bügeleisen vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie
es wegräumen.
• KEIN TRINKWASSER.
Das gefilterte Wasser NICHT trinken. VON KINDERN
FERNHALTEN.
Das Filtergranulat in der Filterkartusche NICHT verschlucken.
Die Kartusche kann mit dem Haushaltsmüll entsorgt werden.
VORSICHT!
• Bevor Sie das Kleidungsstück/den Stoff bügeln, befolgen Sie bitte die
Anweisungen auf dem Etikett.
• Hochempfindliche Stoffe (einschließlich Mohair, Kaschmir, Samt und
Angora) können beim Kontakt mit der heißen Schutzsohle beschädigt
werden. Bügeln Sie den Stoff (mit angeschlossener Sohle) aus der
Entfernung durch Bedampfen.
• Das Gerät nicht benutzen, wenn es durch
Herunterfallen beschädigt wurde, sichtliche
Anzeichen von Schäden aufweist oder der
Dampfschlauch oder das Netzkabel be-
schädigt sind. Öffnen oder zerlegen Sie das
Gerät nicht, um die Gefahr eines Stromschlags
zu vermeiden. Wenden Sie sich für Informa-
tionen zur Reparatur ausschließlich an den
autorisierten Laurastar-Kundendienst. Bei
unsachgemäßer Montage kann es beim Ge-
brauch des Gerätes zu Stromschlägen kommen.
• Gerät NICHT ohne Wasser einschalten.
• Das Gehäuse des Geräts mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch reinigen.
KEINE Lösungsmittel, KEIN Öl und KEIN Benzin verwenden!
• Kein anderes Gerät mit hoher Leistung (Watt) gleichzeitig in Betrieb
nehmen, damit Ihr Stromkreis nicht überlastet wird.
• Den Entleerungsverschluss niemals währ-
end des Gerätebetriebs öffnen. Schrauben
Sie den Entleerungsverschluss erst ab,
wenn das Gerät vollkommen abgekühlt ist.
Vorsicht: Der noch vorhandene Dampf steht
unter Druck und tritt nach einigen Umdrehungen
aus. Es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr.
• Versuchen Sie NICHT, Gegenstände in die Öffnungen des Geräts zu stecken.
Sollte Wasser oder ein Fremdkörper in das Gerät gelangen, sofort den
Stecker aus der Wandsteckdose ziehen. Wenden Sie sich zur Instandsetzung
des Gerätes ausschließlich an den autorisierten Laurastar-Kundendienst.
• Zum Ausstecken NICHT am Stromkabel ziehen, sondern den Stecker
fest in die Hand nehmen und herausziehen. Andernfalls besteht die
Gefahr eines Stromschlages.
• Stromkabel und Dampfschlauch so positionieren, dass man nicht
daran ziehen oder hängenbleiben kann, um sicherzustellen, dass
niemand darüber stolpern kann.
• Hinweise zum Umweltschutz und zur Entsorgung: Bewahren
Sie den Verpackungskarton Ihres Geräts für eine spätere Verwendung
(Transport, Instandhaltung usw.) sorgfältig auf. Das gebrauchte
Gerät NICHT im Hausmüll entsorgen! Erkundigen Sie sich bei den
kommunalen oder örtlichen Behörden über Möglichkeiten zur
sachgemäßen und umweltfreundlichen Entsorgung.

VORSICHT: Befüllen Sie den Wasserbehälter für einen optimalen
Gerätebetrieb immer vollständig.
HINWEIS: Der Betrieb des Gerätes ohne Wasser kann Schäden
am Gerät hervorrufen und führt zum Erlöschen jeglicher
eingeschränkter Garantien für Ihr Gerät.
Befüllung
• Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Wasserbehälters und entnehmen Sie den
Behälter, indem Sie am Deckel ziehen. Setzen Sie die mitgelieferte
Filterkartusche (17) ein und füllen Sie den Behälter mit Leitungswasser.
A
• Setzen Sie den Behälter (4) bei geöffnetem Deckel wieder ein, dann
schließen Sie ihn.
Einschalten Ihres Geräts
• Schließen Sie den Netzstecker an.
• Betätigen Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter (7), die weiße Kontrolllampe blinkt
nun 3-6 Minuten lang.
B
• Wenn die weiße Kontrolllampe nicht mehr blinkt, ist das Gerät
einsatzbereit.
HINWEIS: Für Ihren Komfort und Ihre Sicherheit schaltet sich
Ihre Laurastar-Dampfstation nach 10 Minuten aus, wenn sie nicht
verwendet wird.
HINWEIS: Bevor Sie mit dem Bügeln beginnen bzw. nach einer
längeren Pause drücken Sie zwei oder drei Mal auf die Dampftaste

Aufbau Ihrer Dampfbügelstation
• Nehmen Sie das Gerät am Tragegriff (19) aus dem Karton und setzen
Sie es ach auf einem ebenen, stabilen und feuerfesten Untergrund ab.
• Befestigen Sie den Kabelhalter (6) am Bügelbrett und führen Sie den
Dampfschlauch (3) hindurch (Kabelhalter nur mit bestimmten Modellen
erhältlich. Sie können ihn ebenfalls auf www.laurastar.com oder bei
einem autorisierten Laurastar-Händler beziehen).

Welches Wasser ist zu verwenden?
Ihr Laurastar wurde entwickelt, um mit Leitungswasser betrieben werden
zu können. Es wird dennoch empfohlen, die mitgelieferte Filterkartusche
zu verwenden, um eine maximale, störungsfreie Lebensdauer Ihres
Laurastar-Gerätes gewährleisten zu können.
HINWEIS: Niemals Zusätze (z. B. parfümiertes Wasser) oder mit
chemischen Mitteln versetztes Wasser oder Sammelwasser
aus dem Wäschetrockner verwenden, da diese Produkte den
ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb Ihres Laurastar-Gerätes beeinträchtigen.
GEFAHR:
VON KINDERN FERNHALTEN.
NIEMALS das gelterte Wasser TRINKEN.
Verstauen Ihrer Dampfbügelstation
• Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, indem Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter (7)
betätigen und den Netzstecker (15) herausziehen.
ACHTUNG: Lassen Sie das Gerät vor dem Verstauen
mindestens zwei Stunden abkühlen.
• Wenn das Gerät vollständig abgekühlt ist, platzieren Sie die
Isoliermatte (5) und danach das Bügeleisen (2) auf dem Gerät.

• Wickeln Sie das Stromkabel (16) um das Gerät. Wenn Ihr Gerät eine
automatische Kabelaufwicklung (18) hat (nur bei bestimmten Modellen
verfügbar), ziehen Sie am Stromkabel, um den automatischen Einzug
auszulösen. Wickeln Sie den Dampfschlauch (3) um das Gerät.

• Sie können das Wasser bis zur nächsten Verwendung im Dampferzeuger
belassen.

Um die Schutzsohle (10) abzunehmen, ziehen Sie an der hinteren
Lasche und nehmen Sie das noch heiße Bügeleisen heraus.

ACHTUNG: Die Schutzsohle und das Bügeleisen sind heiß!
Lassen Sie bei der Entfernung der Schutzsohle Vorsicht walten.
HINWEIS: Nehmen Sie die Schutzsohle nach der Verwendung
IMMER ab.
Tipp
Mohair, Kaschmir, Samt, Angora nicht mit der Schutzsohle (10) in
Berührung bringen. Bügeln Sie das Gewebe in einem Abstand von ca.
10 cm / 4 Zoll und dampfen Sie es dabei ein, so verlzt es nicht. Nehmen
Sie das Kleidungsstück danach in die Hand und schütteln Sie es vorsichtig
aus, um ihm sein Volumen zurückzugeben.

Bei Samt, Cord und Jersey wird empfohlen, die Textilien ohne Schutzsohle
(10) in einem Abstand von ca. 2-3 cm / 1-2 Zoll einzudampfen und
anschließend mit der Hand zu glätten.
Senkrechtes (vertikales) Dampfbügeln
Hängen Sie das Kleidungsstück auf einen Kleiderbügel. Berühren Sie
das Kleidungsstück leicht bei einer gleichzeitigen Bewegung von oben
nach unten mit kleinen Dampfstößen. Hinweis: Fast alle Textilien mit
Ausnahme von Baumwolle, Leinen und bestimmten Seidenstoffen werden
so leicht knitterfrei. Wenn ein Stoff sich nicht leicht entknittern lässt,
legen Sie das Kleidungsstück auf das Bügelbrett und bügeln Sie es auf
die herkömmliche Weise.

ACHTUNG: Die Kleidungsstücke dürfen während des
Bügelns oder vertikalen Entknitterns nicht von einer Person
am Körper getragen werden. Beim vertikalen Entknittern
den Dampf nicht auf Personen oder Tiere richten.
Kontrolllampe Wasserstand (9) und Tonsignal
Ein akustisches Signal ertönt und eine rote Kontrolllampe leuchtet auf, um
anzuzeigen, dass sich kein Wasser mehr im Behälter (4) bendet.
Sie können den Behälter auffüllen, ohne Ihr Gerät vorher abzuschalten.
Befüllen des Behälters (4)
• Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Wasserbehälters und entnehmen Sie
den Behälter, indem Sie am Deckel ziehen. Füllen Sie ihn mit
Leitungswasser.

• Setzen Sie den Behälter (4) bei geöffnetem Deckel wieder ein, dann
schließen Sie ihn.

Wirkungsprinzip des Dampfes
Für ein einwandfreies Bügeln muss Dampf im Gewebe verteilt werden, um
die Fasern zu entspannen, wobei die Kleidung danach zur Faserxierung
trocknen muss. Nur unter diesen Bedingungen werden Falten vollständig
beseitigt. Für ein optimales Ergebnis empfehlen wir Ihnen einen
Bügelgang mit Dampf und danach einen Bügelgang ohne Dampf, damit
das Bügeleisen die Fasern trocknen kann.
Zwei Dampf-Modi
Für ein bestmögliches Bügelergebnis bieten wir Ihnen zwei Dampf-Modi:
• DAMPF-Modus (12): Drücken Sie auf eine der beiden DAMPF-Tasten
(12), so lösen Sie einen Dampfstoß des Bügeleisens aus. Drücken Sie
mehrmals für mehrere Dampfstöße.

• PULSE-Modus (13) (nur bei bestimmten Modellen): Aktivieren Sie
den PULSE-Modus (13), indem Sie die Taste auf PULSE ON schieben,
halten Sie die DAMPF-Taste (12) gedrückt, um kontinuierlich kurze
Dampfstöße zu erzeugen. Um den PULSE-Modus auszuschalten,
schieben Sie die Taste auf PULSE OFF. Sie können den Standard-
DAMPF-Modus verwenden.

• Um den Dampf zu stoppen, unterbrechen Sie das Drücken der DAMPF-
Taste (12).
Tipps: Zur Verbesserung der Bügelqualität und für eine längere
Lebensdauer Ihres Gerätes bügeln Sie das Gewebe einmal mit Dampf
und ein zweites Mal ohne Dampf, um das Gewebe zu trocknen.
Schutzsohle (10)
Die Schutzsohle ist unverzichtbar für dunkle Textilien, die zum Glänzen
neigen, sowie für empndliche Textilien wie Seide, die dazu neigen, am
Bügeleisen haften zu bleiben. So setzen Sie die Schutzsohle auf:
• Setzen Sie die Bügeleisenspitze (2) zunächst vorne in die Schutzsohle
(10) ein und senken Sie das Bügeleisen danach ab, um es in der Sohle
zu xieren.

• Warten Sie ca. eine Minute, bis die Sohle die richtige Temperatur
erreicht hat.

Gerät entleeren
Für eine längere Leistungsfähigkeit Ihres Gerätes und zur Verhinderung
von Kalkrückständen sollten Sie es unbedingt jedes Mal entleeren, wenn
Sie die Filterkartusche wechseln.
Beachten Sie beim Entleeren folgende Anweisungen:
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Netzstecker (15) aus der Steckdose gezogen
ist, dass der Behälter (4) entnommen ist und dass das Bügeleisen (2)
und die Isoliermatte (5) beiseite geräumt wurden.
• Schütteln Sie das Gerät in kraftvollen Kreisbewegungen und halten Sie
es über ein Spülbecken.
F
• Heben Sie die Schutzlasche des Entleerungsverschlusses (14) an und
öffnen Sie den Verschluss mit einer kleinen Münze.
G
• Entleeren Sie das gesamte Wasser im Gerät.
H
• Schließen Sie den Entleerungsverschluss (14), bringen Sie die
Schutzlasche wieder an und füllen Sie den Wasserbehälter (4) auf. Sie
können Ihr Gerät wieder einschalten.

Wartung und Pflege
ACHTUNG: Das Gerät vor der Reinigung AUSSCHALTEN
und AUSSTECKEN und VOLLSTÄNDIG ABKÜHLEN
LASSEN! Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den
Netzstecker des Gerätes aus der Steckdose heraus. Lassen Sie
Ihr Gerät mindestens zwei Stunden lang abkühlen. Es empehlt
sich, das Gerät erst VOR dem Gebrauch zu reinigen.
HINWEIS: Spülen Sie das Gerät immer nur mit Wasser. Verwenden
Sie NIEMALS Entkalker oder andere chemische Mittel.
Reinigung des Bügeleisens
Wenn die Sohle verunreinigt ist, verwenden Sie unsere Reinigungsmatte
und befolgen Sie die Anweisungen. Sie können sie auf www.laurastar.com
oder bei Ihrem autorisierten Laurastar-Händler beziehen.

Hartnäckige Flecken können mit einem Topfreiniger beseitigt werden.
Entfernen Sie danach das Aluminiumoxid unter der Sohle, indem Sie sie
mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen.

Kontrolllampe zum Wechseln der Filterkartusche (8)
Eine rote Kontrolllampe leuchtet auf, um anzuzeigen, dass die
Filterkartusche gewechselt werden muss (17).
Bitte entleeren Sie das Gerät zur gleichen Zeit.
Wechseln der Filterkartusche (17)
• Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Wasserbehälters und entnehmen Sie den
Behälter, indem Sie am Deckel ziehen. Entleeren Sie das Wasser und
entfernen Sie die Filterkartusche (17).

• Setzen Sie eine neue Filterkartusche (17) ein (erhältlich auf
www.laurastar.com oder bei einem autorisierten Laurastar-Händler)
und befüllen Sie den Wasserbehälter anschließend erneut.
E
• Bestätigen Sie anschließend den Filterwechsel, indem Sie auf den
Schalter zum Wechseln der Kartusche (8) drücken.
