• Auto-Darkening welding helmets are designed to protect the eye and face from
sparks, spatter and harmful radiation under normal welding conditions.

Select the blackening level you need by referring to the “Blackout Selection Table”
according to the type of source and current intensity you will make. By turning the

2.5 Set Sensitivity
When you set the Figure 2 button to the “Grind” position, you will get a tarnished image.
2.6 Selection of Grinding Option
You can test your dimming settings by holding down the Test button in Figure 5. It will return to its normal
position when you take your hand off the button.

When the Low Battery warning led in Figure 5 lights red, the battery should be replaced.

As shown in Figure 6a, unlock the cartridge by opening the holder lock. Disconnect the potentiometer
connection and remove the faulty cartridge. First put the new cartridge into its slot by making the
potentiometer connection. Lock the retainer lock.
Inner Lens: As seen in Figure 6a, the holder lock is opened and the inner lens is removed by scrolling down.
Likewise, it is replaced with a new one.
Outer Lens: As seen in Figure 6b, the holder is opened and the cartridge is removed. With the help of two
 
solarmatic cartridge back into place, the holder lock is locked.

Welding current is too low. Set the sensitivity setting to “Highest”
direction.
The sensors are dirty. Clean sensor surfaces.
The front cover lens is dirty or damaged. Replace the front cover lens.
Blackening speed is too low. Do not use at temperatures below -10 ° C.
The lens on the front cover and / or inside is dirty. Replace lenses.
• The blackout number is incorrectly selected. Set the dimming number
again.

• The headband is not properly adjusted. Set it again.
