Ce mode d'emploi a pour objet de vous permettre

d'utiliser correctement et en toute sécurité votre appareil

Campingaz

“Fargo

TwinPack”.

Respectez les instructions de ce mode d'emploi ainsi

que les consignes de sécurité figurant sur les

cartouches Campingaz

CV 470 PLUS. Le non respect

de ces instructions peut être dangereux pour

l'utilisateur et son entourage.

Lisez-le attentivement pour vous familiariser avec

l'appareil avant de l'assembler à son récipient de gaz.

Conservez ce mode d'emploi en permanence en lieu

sûr afin de pouvoir vous y reporter en cas de besoin.

Cet appareil doit être utilisé exclusivement avec les

cartouches Campingaz

CV 470 PLUS. Il peut être

dangereux d'utiliser d'autres récipients de gaz.

La Société Application Des Gaz décline toute

responsabilité en cas d'utilisation d'une cartouche de

toute autre marque.

Cet appareil ne doit être utilisé qu’à l’extérieur des

locaux et éloigné de matériaux inflammables.

Ne pas utiliser un appareil qui fuit, ayant des joints

endommagés ou usés, qui fonctionne mal ou qui est

détérioré. Le rapporter à votre vendeur qui vous

indiquera le service après-vente le plus proche.

Ne jamais modifier cet appareil, ni l'utiliser pour des

applications auxquelles il n'est pas destiné.

Attention : des parties accessibles peuvent être très

chaudes. Eloigner les jeunes enfants de l’appareil.

Aucun materiau combustible ne doit se trouver dans

un rayon de 60 cm environ autour de l’appareil.

Ne pas déplacer l’appareil pendant son fonctionnement.

Poser l'appareil sur une surface horizontale stable et

pendant l'utilisation, ne pas le déplacer, afin d'éviter

l'apparition de grandes flammes dues à la combustion

de butane liquide au lieu de butane vaporisé. Si cela se

produit, poser l'appareil et fermer les robinets “a” de

l’appareil et “b” du TwinPack (voir paragraphe C).

Ne pas recouvrir le fond de cuve de papier d’aluminium.

Lors du fonctionnement, la température du support

sur lequel est posé l'appareil peut être importante.

L'appareil ne doit pas être posé sur une surface

combustible (plastique, nappe, etc…). Positionner

entre l'appareil et son support un matériau bon

isolant thermique et incombustible.

Ne pas utiliser cet appareil dans une caravane, un

véhicule, une tente, un abri, une cabane ou autre petit

espace clos.

Ne pas utiliser l'appareil pendant votre sommeil ou

sans surveillance.

Cet appareil à gaz fonctionnant sur le principe de la

combustion consomme de l'oxygène et rejette des

substances et gaz qui peuvent être dangereux, tel que

le monoxyde de carbone (CO).

Le monoxyde de carbone, inodore et incolore, peut

provoquer des malaises et des symptômes qui

rappellent la grippe, voire éventuellement la mort si

l'appareil est utilisé à l'intérieur d'un petit espace clos

sans ventilation adéquate.

B - MISE EN PLACE DE L’APPAREIL

B-1 Dépliage des pieds

1 - déverrouiller les pieds plastique en tirant sur

l'anneau métallique

2 - déplier le pied vers l’extérieur jusqu’à entendre un

clic de verrouillage.

3. poser l'appareil sur un support horizontal.

B-2 Dépliage des étagères

r Déplier les 2 fils support étagère

r Ouvrir les étagères jusqu'à ce qu'elles appuient sur

les fils support étagère.

B-3 Bac à graisse

r Mettre en place le bac à graisse sous la cuve.

Utilisation et entretien

- Répéter cette opération pour la seconde cartouche.

- Poser le Twinpack équipé de ses cartouches à l'arrière

de l'appareil à une dizaine de centimètres de la cuve.

L'appareil est prêt à fonctionner.

En cas de fuite (odeur de gaz avant l'ouverture du

robinet), mettez immédiatement l'appareil à l'extérieur,

dans un endroit très ventilé, sans source d'inflammation,

où la fuite pourra être recherchée et arrêtée. Si vous

voulez vérifier l'étanchéité de votre appareil, faites-le à

l'extérieur. Ne pas rechercher les fuites avec une flamme,

utiliser un liquide de détection de fuite gazeuse.

D - ALLUMAGE DU BRÛLEUR

D-1 Avant la mise en marche

Ne pas mettre l'appareil en marche avant d'avoir lu

attentivement et compris toutes les instructions.

S'assurer aussi :

- que 2 cartouches CV 470 Plus sont connectées

- qu'il n'y a pas de fuites

- que le tube Venturi n’est pas obstrué (exemple :

toiles d'araignées)

- que le tuyau souple n'est pas en contact avec des

pièces pouvant devenir chaudes

- que les étagères rabattables sont ouvertes.

D-2 Allumage Piézo du brûleur

1. Ouvrir le robinet du détendeur Twinpack en tournant

le volant de réglage “b” dans le sens inverse des

aiguilles d'une montre.

2. Appuyer sur la manette de réglage “a” de l’appareil

et la mettre en position Plein débit ( ), puis appuyer

immédiatement sur le bouton d'allumage “p” ( )

jusqu'au déclic.

C - MISE EN PLACE DES CARTOUCHES

(Si une cartouche vide est en place, lire le paragraphe “G

-DEMONTAGE D’UNE CARTOUCHE CV 470 PLUS”)

Pour la mise en place ou le changement d'une cartouche,

opérer toujours dans un endroit aéré, de préférence à

l'extérieur et jamais en présence d'une flamme, source de

chaleur ou étincelle (cigarette, appareil électrique, etc.),

loin d'autres personnes et de matériaux inflammables.

CAMPINGAZ

DE LA GAMME 470 PLUS CONÇUS

POUR FONCTIONNER EXCLUSIVEMENT SUR CES

CARTOUCHES.

L’appareil fonctionne avec 2 cartouches CV 470 Plus.

- Vérifier que l'arrivée du gaz est bien fermée en plaçant le

volant de réglage “a” sur OFF (O) et en tournant jusqu’à

la butée le volant du détendeur TwinPack “b” dans le sens

de rotation des aiguilles d'une montre. Bien serrer les

volants pour garantir une bonne fermeture du gaz.

- Décrocher le Twinpack du support situé à l'arrière de

l'appareil.

- Examiner les joints d’étanchéité “J” (voir figure ci-dessous)

avant d’assembler un nouveau récipient de gaz.

- S’assurer de la présence et du bon état des joints

d’étanchéité “J” situés sur le Twinpack avant de fixer les

récipients de gaz. Ne pas utiliser un appareil ayant des

joints endommagés ou usés.

- Maintenir le TwinPack, puis visser doucement une

cartouche sur l'appareil en la tournant dans le sens de

rotation des aiguilles d'une montre jusqu'à entendre un

"clic" (environ un sixième de tour). Ne plus visser la

cartouche au delà : vous risquez de détériorer sa valve.

Si l'allumage ne se produit pas au premier déclic,

appuyer 3 ou 4 fois si nécessaire sur le bouton

d’allumage “p”.

3. Si le brûleur ne s'allume pas, ramener la manette de

réglage “a” en position "OFF" (O). Attendre 5

minutes avant de recommencer l'opération.

Important :

Si aprés le 2

ème

essai, le brûleur ne s'allume pas, vérifier

si les orifices de sortie du brûleur ainsi que le tube de

brûleur ne sont pas obstrués.

D-3 Allumage manuel du brûleur

En cas de non fonctionnement de l'allumage Piézo,

mettre le bouton de réglage “a” sur "OFF" (O). Enlever

le bac à graisse situé sous la cuve. Présenter une

allumette enflammée dans l’ouverture située sous le

brûleur, puis ouvrir la manette “a” du tableau de

commande en position Plein débit ( ). Remettre le bac

à graisse en place.

E - EXTINCTION DE L’APPAREIL

1. Ramener la manette de réglage “a” en position "OFF" (O).

2. Fermer le robinet du détendeur Twinpack en tournant le

volant “b” dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre.

F - UTILISATION

1. Il est recommandé de porter des gants protecteurs

pour manipuler des éléments particulièrement chauds.

2. Avant la mise en marche, mettre en place les pieds de

l’appareil et ouvrir les étagères rabattables (voir

paragraphe B - MISE EN PLACE DE L’APPAREIL).

3. Ne jamais faire fonctionner votre Fargo

TwinPack avec les étagères en position

fermée.

4. Ne pas poser de charge supérieure à 2 kg

sur les étagères lorsqu'elles sont en

position ouverte.

5. Avant toute cuisson, préchauffer l'appareil quelques

minutes sur position Plein débit ( ).

Important :

S'il arrive, durant le

fonctionnement de l'appareil

que le brûleur s'éteigne, placer

immédiatement la manette de

réglage “a” sur "OFF" (O).

G - DEMONTAGE D’UNE CARTOUCHE CV

470 PLUS

Une cartouche peut être démontée même si elle n'est

pas vide. Changer la cartouche à l'extérieur et loin

d'autres personnes.

- Vérifier que l'arrivée du gaz est bien fermée en ramenant

la manette de réglage “a” en position OFF (O) et en

tournant le volant TwinPack “b” à fond dans le sens de

rotation des aiguilles d'une montre.

- Assurez-vous que le brûleur est éteint avant d’enlever la

cartouche.

- Maintenir le TwinPack, puis desserrer la cartouche en la

tournant dans le sens inverse de rotation des aiguilles

d'une montre et la retirer.

- Répéter cette opération pour la seconde cartouche le

cas échéant.

Ne jamais jeter une cartouche qui n'est pas vide (vérifier

l'absence de bruit de liquide en la secouant).

H - PRECAUTIONS D’EMPLOI

Ne pas utiliser votre appareil à moins de 60 cm

d'une paroi ou d'un objet combustible. Eviter

les efforts de torsion sur le tuyau souple.

Ne pas faire fonctionner votre appareil avec

une seule cartouche connectée.

Ne pas faire fonctionner votre appareil avec

une cartouche vide sur deux. Vous risquez de

ne pas obtenir la puissance nécessaire au

bon fonctionnement.

Examiner les joints d’étanchéité avant

d’assembler un nouveau récipient de gaz.

Après usage, fermer d’abord le robinet “b”

du TwinPack puis, après extinction de la

flamme, fermer le robinet “a” de l’appareil.

I - NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

Ne jamais modifier l'appareil : toute modification peut

se révéler dangereuse.

- Afin de maintenir votre appareil en parfait état de

fonctionnement ; il est recommandé de le nettoyer

périodiquement (après 4 ou 5 utilisations).

- Eteindre votre appareil (voir paragraphe E -

EXTINCTION DE L’APPAREIL).

- Attendre que l'appareil ait refroidi avant toute opération

de nettoyage.

- Nettoyer le dessus du brûleur à l'aide d'une éponge

humide (eau additionnée de produit pour la vaisselle).

Au besoin utiliser une brosse en acier, humidifiée.

- Vérifier que les trous de sortie du brûleur ne sont pas

bouchés et laisser sécher avant réutilisation. Au besoin

utiliser une brosse métallique pour déboucher les trous

de sortie du brûleur.

- Si l'appareil n'a pas été utilisé pendant plus de 30 jours,

vérifier également que des toiles d'araignées ne

bouchent pas les orifices des tubes de brûleur, ce qui

peut conduire à une diminution de l'efficacité du gril ou

à une inflammation dangereuse du gaz hors du brûleur.

Nettoyer les orifices du tube de brûleur ou le brûleur le

cas échéant.

N.B. : L'entretien fréquent du brûleur permet de le

maintenir en bon état pour de nombreuses utilisations et

d'éviter son oxydation prématurée, à cause notamment

des résidus acides des grillades. L'oxydation du brûleur

est toutefois un phénomène normal dans le temps et un

brûleur oxydé qui fonctionne normalement ne doit pas être

remplacé. Le remplacement du brûleur est nécessaire si

son fonctionnement est incorrect : brûleur percé...

Parois du foyer, étagères rabattables, tableau de

commande, bac à graisse

Nettoyer également périodiquement ces éléments à l'aide

d'une éponge additionnée de produit à vaisselle. Ne pas

utiliser de produits abrasifs.

Grille de cuisson

La grille de cuisson est émaillée. Pour la nettoyer il est

recommandé d'enlever tout d'abord les résidus de

cuisson à l'aide d'une éponge ou tampon à récurer.

Ensuite, dégraisser à l'aide d'un produit pour la vaisselle

ou en mettant la grille de cuisson au lave-vaisselle.

Attention à ne pas heurter la grille de cuisson sur une

surface dure car cela pourrait provoquer un éclat d'émail.

J - RANGEMENT ET TRANSPORT

Après utilisation, attendre que l’appareil ait refroidi pour

replier votre Fargo

TwinPack :

r démonter les 2 cartouches (voir paragraphe G -

DEMONTAGE D’UNE CARTOUCHE CV 470

PLUS).

r accrocher le TwinPack sur le crochet à l’arrière de

l’appareil.

r mettre le bac à graisse dans la cuve

r refermer les étagères

r replier les fils support étagères

r déverrouiller les pieds plastique en tirant sur

l'anneau métallique.

r replier les pieds en plastique en les passant par-

dessus les étagères jusqu'à entendre un clic de

verrouillage.

Votre Fargo

TwinPack est prêt à être transporté ou

rangé.

K - STOCKAGE

Après refroidissement complet de votre appareil :

- Démonter les 2 cartouches (voir paragraphe G -

DEMONTAGE D’UNE CARTOUCHE CV 470 PLUS).

- Replier l’appareil (voir paragraphe J - RANGEMENT

ET TRANSPORT).

- Stocker l'appareil et ses cartouches dans un endroit

frais, sec et aéré, hors de portée des enfants, jamais

dans un sous-sol ou une cave.

L - ACCESSOIRES

ADG recommande l'utilisation systématique de ses

barbecues à gaz avec des accessoires et pièces de

rechange de marque Campingaz. ADG décline toute

responsabilité en cas de dommage ou de mauvais

fonctionnement survenant du fait de l'utilisation

d'accessoires et/ou pièces de rechange de marque

différente.

M - PROTECTION DE L'ENVIRONNEMENT

Pensez à la protection de l'environnement !

Votre appareil contient des matériaux qui peuvent être

récupérés ou recyclés. Remettez-le au service de collecte

des déchets de votre commune et triez les matériaux

d'emballage.

CONDITIONS D’APPLICATION DE LA GARANTIE

- Le produit bénéficie d'une garantie totale pièces et main d'œuvre de 2 (deux) ans à compter de sa date d'achat.

- La garantie s'applique lorsque le produit livré n'est pas conforme à la commande ou lorsqu'il est défaillant, dès lors que

la réclamation est accompagnée d'une pièce justificative de la date d'achat (ex : facture, ticket de caisse) et d'une

description du problème rencontré.

- Tout produit fonctionnant au gaz devra être séparé de la cartouche ou du cylindre auquel il est connecté avant d'être

retourné à un centre de service après-vente agréé.

- Le produit sera soit réparé, remplacé ou remboursé - en tout ou partie.

- La garantie est nulle et ne s'applique pas lorsque le dommage est survenu du fait (i) d'un emploi ou stockage incorrect

du produit, (ii) d'un défaut d'entretien du produit ou d'un entretien non-conforme aux instructions d'utilisation, (iii) de la

réparation, modification, entretien du produit par un tiers non agréé, (iv) de l'utilisation de pièces de rechange qui ne

seraient pas d'origine.

- NOTA : l'usage professionnel de ce produit est exclu de la garantie.

- Toute prise en charge pendant la période de garantie est sans incidence sur la date d'expiration de la garantie.

- Cette garantie n’affecte en rien les droits légaux du consommateur qui bénéficie en tout état de cause des conditions

Anomalie Remède

Le brûleur ne s’allume pas

- Vérifier que les cartouches contiennent encore du gaz.

- vérifier que le robinet du détendeur Twinpack est ouvert.

- Vérifier que le tuyau de brûleur ou les orifices du brûleur ne sont pas bouchés.

- Voir le S.A.V.

Le brûleur a des ratés ou s’éteint

- Vérifier que les cartouches contiennent encore du gaz.

- Voir le S.A.V.

Grand panache de flammes à la surface

du brûleur

- Le tube venturi est obstrué (exemple : toile d’araignées). Nettoyer le venturi.

- Voir le S.A.V.

Flamme à l'injecteur

- Les cartouche de gaz sont presque vides.

- Changer de cartouche et le défaut disparaîtra.

Chaleur insuffisante

- Injecteur ou tube de venturi bouché.

Fuite enflammée derrière le bouton de

- Robinet défectueux.

La graisse s’enflamme d’une façon

- Le système d’écoulement de la graisse est bouché. Le nettoyer.

B-1 Unfolding the feet

1 - unlock the plastic feet by pulling the metal ring

r Open the shelves until they are resting on the shelf-

A -IMPORTANT: ALWAYS BE CAREFUL

WHEN USING GAS !

The purpose of these instructions is to enable you to

use your Campingaz

Fargo

TwinPack correctly

and in complete safety.

Please read them carefully to familiarise yourself

with the equipment prior to assembling the gas

container.

Please observe these instructions and the safety

measures printed on the Campingaz

CV 470 PLUS

cartridges. Failure to observe these instructions may

result in the user and people in the immediate

vicinity being put at risk.

Keep these instructions in a safe place so that you

can refer to them if needed.

This equipment must be used exclusively with

Campingaz

CV 470 PLUS cartridges. Using other

gas containers may be dangerous.

The Société Application Des Gaz accepts no

responsibility where cartridges of any other make

are used.

This device must be used outside only and away

from inflammable materials.

Do not use equipment which leaks, has damaged or

worn seals, operates poorly or is in a deteriorated

condition. Return it to your retailer who will inform

you of your nearest after-sales service.

Never modify this equipment or use it for purposes

for which it is not intended.

Careful: accessible parts may be very hot. Keep

young children away from the device.

No combustible material should be found within a

radius of 60 cm around the device.

Do not move the device while it is in operation.

Place the device on a stable horizontal surface;

during use, do not move it in order to avoid

producing large flames caused by the combustion of

liquid butane instead of gas butane. If this happens,

put the device down and close the "a" valve on the

device and the "b" valve on the TwinPack.

Do not cover the bottom of the vat with aluminum

foil.

During operation, the temperature of the support on

which the device is placed can become very high.

Thus, the device should not be placed on a

combustible surface (plastic, tablecloth, etc.). Put a

good, non-combustible thermal insulator between

the device and its support.

Do not use this product in caravans, cars, tents,

huts, sheds or any small enclosed areas.

The product should not be used while sleeping or

left unattended.

This product consumes fuel through combustion or

consumption of oxygen and gives off certain

substances and gas, which could be dangerous

such as carbon monoxide (CO).

Carbon monoxide is an odorless, clear gas that can

cause flu-like symptoms, sickness, illness, and

possibly death if produced inside aforesaid

enclosed areas through use of the product without

proper ventilation.

- Repeat this operation for the second cylinder.

- Place the TwinPack with its two cylinders behind the

device, about 10 centimeters from the vat.

The Fargo

TwinPack is ready for use.

In the event of leakage (smell of gas prior to turning the tap

on), take the equipment outside immediately, in a well-

ventilated area with no combustion source, where the leak

can be located and halted. If you wish to check that your

equipment is correctly sealed, do so outside. Never attempt

to locate leaks using a flame. Use gas leak solution.

D - LIGHTING THE BURNER

D-1 Prior to use

Never use the barbecue until the instructions have been

read carefully and understood. Also, make certain that:

- two CV 470 Plus cylinders are connected

- there are no leaks

- the venturi tubes are not blocked

- the hose does not touch any components which may

get hot.

- that the feet are unfold (see paragraph B-2).

D-2 Piezo ignition of the burner

1. Open the TwinPack regulator valve by turning the "b"

adjustment knob in a counter-clockwise direction.

2. Push on the "a" adjustment lever of the device and

turn it to the full-flow position ( ), then push

immediately on the "p" ignition button ( ) until you

hear a click. Repeat 3 or 4 times if necessary until the

burner is lit.

C - INSTALLING THE CAMPINGAZ

CARTRIDGES

(Where the existing cartridge is empty, read paragraph

G: "REMOVING A CV 470 PLUS CARTRIDGE").

When installing or changing a cartridge, always operate

in a very well-ventilated location, preferably outside,

never near a flame, heat source or spark (cigarette,

electric apparatus, etc.) and far away from other people

and inflammable materials.

DESIGNED TO OPERATE EXCLUSIVELY WITH

THESE CARTRIDGES.

The device operates using two CV 470 Plus cylinders.

- Check that gas input is properly closed by placing the

"a" adjustment lever to OFF and by turning the

TwinPack "b" regulator in a clockwise direction until it

stops. Close the regulators tightly to ensure proper gas

shut-off.

- Remove the TwinPack from the support located behind

the device.

- Check the "J" sealing rings (see figure below) before

assembling a new gas recipient.

- Be sure that the "J" sealing rings located on the

TwinPack are in place and in proper condition before

attaching gas recipients. Do not use a device that has

damaged or worn seals.

- Holding the TwinPack, gently screw a cylinder onto the

device by turning it in a clockwise direction until you

hear a "click" (approximately one-sixth of a turn). Do not

force when screwing the cylinder: you may damage the

cylinder valve.

Regulator

10 cm

Never throw away a cartridge which is not completely

empty, (check there is no liquid in the cartridge by

shaking it).

H - PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

Never use your device less than 60 cm from a

wall or combustible object.

Avoid twisting the flexible hose.

Do not operate the device using only one

cylinder.

Do not operate the device when one of the

two cylinders is empty. You risk not being

able to obtain the power necessary for proper

operation.

Check the sealing rings before assembling a

new gas recipient.

After use, first close the "b" valve on the

TwinPack; when the flame goes out, close the

"a" valve on the device.

I - CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

- Never modify the barbecue: any modification may prove

dangerous.

- In order to maintain your barbecue in perfect operating

condition, it is recommended to clean it periodically (after

4 or 5 uses).

- Turn your device off (see paragraph E - TURNING OFF

THE DEVICE.

- Wait until the barbecue has cooled down before

cleaning.

- If not used during more than 30 days the grill burner

must be cleaned and checked.

- Clean the top of the burner, as well as the sides and

base, using a moist sponge (water with washing up

liquid). If necessary, use a damp steel brush.

- Check that all burner outlets are clear and let dry before

using again. If necessary, use a wire brush to unclog the

burner outlets.

N.B.: Frequent cleaning of the burner maintains it in good

condition for many uses and prevents premature

oxidation, notably due to acid residue from cooking.

Oxidation of the grill burner is, however, normal.

Stove sides, fold-down shelves, control panel,

drippings tray

Clean these elements from time to time using a sponge

with washing up liquid. Do not use abrasive products.

Cooking grill

The cooking grill is covered with enamel. To clean it, we

recommend first removing all cooking residues with a

sponge or scouring pad. Next, remove grease with a

dishwashing detergent or by putting the cooking grill in

your dishwasher.

Be careful to avoid hitting the cooking grill against a hard

surface since this could chip the enamel.

3. If the burner fails to light, turn the control knob “a” to

the "off" position (O). Wait 5 minutes before repeating

the operation.

Important:

If the burner fails to light after the 2

attempt, turn the

control knob “a” to the "OFF" position (O) and check that

the burner outlets and the venturi tube are not blocked.

D-3 Manual burner ignition

If Piezo ignition does not work, put the "a" adjustment

lever in the "OFF" (O) position. Remove the drippings

tray located under the vat. Hold a lighted match to the

opening located under the burner, then open the "a"

lever on the control panel to full-flow position ( ).

Reposition the drippings tray.

E - TURNING OFF THE DEVICE

1. Turn the "a" adjustment lever to the "OFF" (O) position.

2. Close the TwinPack regulator valve by turning the "b"

knob in a clockwise direction.

F - OPERATION

1. It's recommended that protective gloves be worn to

handle components which may be very hot.

2. Before start-up, put the feet in place, then open the fold-

down shelves (see paragraph B).

3. Never turn your Fargo

TwinPack on with

the shelves in a closed position.

4. Do not put a weight of more than 2 kg on the

shelves when they are in the open position.

5. Before cooking, preheat the device for a few minutes in

the full flow position ( ).

Important :

If a burner flame goes out

when the unit is in use,

immediately turn the

control knob to the "off" (O)

position.

G - REMOVING A CV 470 PLUS CARTRIDGE

The cartridge may be removed even if it is not empty.

Replace the cartridge outside and away from other

people.

- Check that gas input is properly closed by turning the

"a" adjustment lever to the OFF position (O) and by

turning the TwinPack "b" in a clockwise direction until it

stops.

- Be sure that the burner is turned off before removing the

cylinder.

- Holding the TwinPack, unscrew the cylinder by turning it

in a counter-clockwise direction and remove it.

- Repeat these steps for the second cylinder if necessary.

J - STORAGE AND TRANSPORT

After use, wait for your Fargo

TwinPack to cool down before

folding it:

r Remove the two cylinders (see paragraph G -

REMOVING CV 470 PLUS CYLINDERS)

r Hang the TwinPack on the hook behind the device.

r put the drippings tray inside the stove body

r close the shelves

r fold the shelf-support wires

r unlock the plastic feet by pulling on the metal ring

r fold the plastic feet by passing them over the

shelves until you hear a click. Your Fargo

TwinPack is ready to carry or store.

K - STORAGE

After your device has cooled down completely:

- Remove the two cylinders (see paragraph G -

REMOVING CV 470 PLUS CYLINDERS).

- Fold the device (see paragraph J - FOLDING AND

TRANSPORT).

- Store the device with its cylinders in a cool, dry,

ventilated place, away from children and never in a

basement or cellar.

L - ACCESSORIES

ADG advises that its gas barbecues should

systematically be used with accessories and

replacement parts from Campingaz. ADG accepts no

responsibility for any damage or malfunction due to

the use of accessories and/or replacement parts from

other brands.

M - ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Remember to protect the environment!

Your device contains materials that can be recovered or

recycled. Give them to your community's waste and

recycling service and sort packing materials.

TROUBLE SHOOTING: you can expect years of useful service from your barbecue once it is properly assembled, adjusted

and you have learned to operate it. Should you experience any difficulty, you might find solutions below.

Lesen Sie sie aufmerksam durch und machen Sie

sich mit dem Gerät vertraut, bevor Sie die

Gasbehälter anschließen. Beachten Sie bitte alle

Anweisungen in der Bedienungsanleitung sowie die

Sicherheitshinweise auf den Campingaz

Kartuschen CV 470 PLUS. Das Nichteinhalten der

Anweisungen kann für den Anwender und seine

Umgebung gefährlich sein. Bewahren Sie diese

Bedienungsanleitung an einem sicheren Ort auf,

damit Sie im Bedarfsfall immer auf sie zurückgreifen

können.

Dieses Gerät darf nur mit Kartuschen des Typs

Campingaz

CV 470 PLUS, die mit Butan-Propan-

Gemisch gefüllt sind, betrieben werden. Die

Verwendung anderer Gasbehälter kann gefährlich sein.

Die Firma Application Des Gaz/Camping Gaz lehnt

jegliche Haftung bei der Verwendung von

Kartuschen einer anderen Marke ab.

Das Gerät darf nur im Freien und weit entfernt von

brennbaren Materialien betrieben werden.

Benützen Sie kein Gerät, das leckt, defekte oder

abgenützte Dichtungen hat, schlecht funktioniert

oder beschädigt ist. Bringen Sie es zu Ihrem Händler

zurück.

Nehmen Sie an dem Gerät keine Veränderungen vor

und setzen Sie es nicht für Anwendungen ein, für die

es nicht vorgesehen ist.

Achtung: Zugängliche Teile können sehr heiß sein.

Kinder vom Gerät fernhalten.

In einem Umkreis von 60 cm um das Gerät darf sich

kein brennbares Material befinden.

Gerät während des Betriebs nicht verschieben.

Gerät auf eine feste horizontale Fläche stellen und

während der Benützung nicht verschieben, um

große Flammen zu vermeiden, die durch Verbrennen

von flüssigem anstelle von zerstäubtem Butan

entstehen. Wenn dies der Fall ist, Gerät absetzen

und Ventil "a" am Gerät und "b" am TwinPack

schließen (siehe Abb. auf S. 13).

Die Grillwanne nicht mit Aluminiumfolie auslegen.

Während des Betriebs kann die Temperatur unter

dem Gerät sehr hoch sein. Gerät nicht auf eine

brennbare Fläche (Plastik, Tischdecke, usw.) stellen.

Zwischen Gerät und Stellfläche ist ein gut

wärmeisolierendes, nicht brennbares Material zu

verwenden.

Das Gerät nicht in Wohnwagen, Fahrzeugen, Zelten,

Schutzdächern, Hütten und kleinen geschlossenen

Bereichen verwenden.

Nicht beim Schlafen benutzen, nicht unbewacht

lassen. Alle Produkte, die mit Gasverbrennung

betrieben werden, verbrauchen Sauerstoff und

geben Verbrennungsrückstände ab.

Ein Teil dieser Verbrennungsrückstände kann

Kohlenmonoxyd (CO) enthalten. Kohlenmonoxyd ist

geruch- und farblos, es kann Übelkeit und

grippeähnliche Symptome verursachen, eventuell

sogar zum Tod führen, wenn das Gerät im

geschlossenen Raum ohne geeignete Belüftung

verwendet wird.

1. Die Kunststofffüße entsperren, indem Sie den

Metallring ziehen.

2. Füße nach außen aufklappen, bis Sie ein Klicken hören.

3. Gerät auf eine horizontale Ablage stellen.

C - MONTAGE DER CAMPINGAZ

CV 470 PLUS-

KARTUSCHEN

(Befindet sich eine leere Kartusche am Gerät, lesen Sie

bitte den Abschnitt G - "DEMONTAGE EINER CV 470

PLUS KARTUSCHE").

Beim Einsetzen oder Abnehmen einer Kartusche ist

darauf zu achten, dass der Raum gut belüftet

ist.Vorzugsweise im Frein durchführen, jedoch nie in der

Nähe von offenem Feuer, einer Heizquelle oder

Funkenflug (Zigaretten, Elektrogerät usw.) sowie

Personen und brennbaren Stoffen.

DIE CAMPINGAZ

VERFÜGEN ÜBER EIN VENTIL. SIE KÖNNEN DAHER

FÜR EINFACHEN TRANSPORT VOM GERÄT

ABGENOMMEN WERDEN, AUCH WENN SIE NOCH

NICHT LEER SIND. SIE LASSEN SICH DANN IN

ANDEREN CAMPINGAZ

GERÄTEN DER LINIE 470

PLUS, DIE AUSSCHLIESSLICH FÜR DEN BETRIEB

MIT DIESEN KARTUSCHEN ENTWICKELT WURDEN,

WEITER VERWENDEN.

Das Gerät wird mit 2 CV 470 Plus-Kartuschen

betrieben.

- Überprüfen, dass die Gaszufuhr am Gerät gut

geschlossen ist; dazu Regelknopf "a" auf OFF stellen

und Druckminderer des TwinPack "b" im Uhrzeigersinn

bis zum Anschlag drehen. Knöpfe gut schließen, damit

kein Gas ausströmen kann.

- TwinPack aus der Halterung hinten am Gerät nehmen.

- Vor dem Anschluss eines neuen Gasbehälters sind die

Dichtungen "J" zu prüfen (siehe Abbildung unten).

- Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Dichtungen "J" am

TwinPack vorhanden und in gutem Zustand sind, bevor

Sie die Gasbehälter befestigen. Gerät mit beschädigten

oder abgenützten Dichtungen nicht benützen.

- TwinPack festhalten und eine Kartusche im

Uhrzeigersinn vorsichtig bis zum "Klicken" (etwa 1/6

Umdrehung) auf das Gerät schrauben. Kartusche nicht

weiter aufschrauben: Sie könnten das Ventil

beschädigen.

- Mit der zweiten Kartusche ebenso verfahren.

- TwinPack mit den Kartuschen hinter dem Gerät etwa

zehn Zentimeter von der Grillwanne aufstellen.

Das Gerät ist betriebsbereit.

Ist das Gerät undicht (Gasgeruch vor dem Öffnen des

Regelknopfes), das Gerät sofort ins Freie bringen und an

einem gut durchlüfteten Ort abseits von Zündquellen die

undichte Stelle herausfinden und beseitigen. Wenn Sie

die Dichtheit Ihres Geräts überprüfen wollen, so tun Sie

dies bitte im Freien. Suchen Sie undichte Stellen unter

keinen Umständen mit Hilfe einer Flamme.

D - BRENNER ZÜNDEN

D-1 Vor der Inbetriebnahme

Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb, bevor Sie die

Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig gelesen und alle

Hinweise verstanden haben. Sichergehen, dass:

- 2 CV 470 Plus-Kartuschen angeschlossen sind

- keine undichten Stellen vorliegen.

- die Venturirohre nicht verstopft sind.

- die Regale einklappbar geoffnet sind - siehe B-2.

D-2 Piezo-Zündung des Brenners

1. Ventil des TwinPack-Druckminderers öffnen und

Regelknopf "b" entgegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen.

2. Regelknopf am Gerät "a" drücken und entgegen den

Uhrzeigersinn auf Volle Leistung ( ) stellen, dann

sofort auf den Zündknopf "p" ( )

drücken bis zum Klicken. Erfolgt die Zündung nicht

beim ersten Klicken, noch 3- bis 4-mal drücken.

Druckminderer

10 cm

3. Wenn der Brenner nicht zündet, den Schaltknopf “a”

auf "OFF" (O) stellen. 5 Minuten warten, dann den

Vorgang wiederholen.

WICHTIG:

Wenn der Brenner nach dem zweiten Versuch nicht

zündet, überprüfen, ob die Auslassdüsen und das

Brennerrohr verstopft sind.

D-3 Zünden des Brenners von Hand

Falls die Piezo-Zündung nicht funktioniert, Regelknopf

"a" auf "OFF" (O) stellen. Fettauffangschale unter der

Grillwanne entfernen. Ein brennendes Streichholz in die

Öffnung unter dem Brenner halten, dann Regelknopf "a"

am Schaltpanel auf Volle Leistung ( ) stellen.

Fettauffangschale wieder einsetzen.

E - AUSSCHALTEN DES GERÄTS

1. Regelknopf am Gerät "a" auf "OFF" (O) stellen.

2. Ventil des TwinPack-Druckminderers durch Drehen

entgegen den Uhrzeigersinn schließen.

F - GEBRAUCH

1. Zur Handhabung besonders heißer Teile empfiehlt sich

das Tragen von Schutzhandschuhen.

2. Vor Inbetriebnahme Füße des Geräts aufstellen, dann

Ablagen aufklappen (siehe Absatz B).

3. Benützen Sie Ihren Fargo

TwinPack nie

mit geschlossenen Seitenablagen.

4. Die geöffneten Seitenablagen nie mit

mehr als mit 2 kg belasten.

5. Vor jedem Grillen ist das Gerät einige Minuten lang in

Stellung Volle Leistung ( ) vorzuheizen.

WICHTIG: Sollte der

Brenner während des

Grillvorgangs ausgehen,

den Regelknopf "a" sofort

auf OFF (O) stellen.

G - DEMONTAGE EINER CV 470 PLUS

KARTUSCHE

Kartusche im Freien und nicht in der Nähe anderer

Personen auswechseln. Die Kartusche kann

abgenommen werden, auch wenn sie noch nicht leer ist.

- Überprüfen, dass die Gaszufuhr gut geschlossen ist;

dazu Regelknopf "a" auf OFF (o) stellen und TwinPack-

Knopf "b" im Uhrzeigersinn völlig schließen.

- Achten Sie darauf, dass der Brenner erloschen ist,

bevor Sie die Kartusche abnehmen.

- TwinPack festhalten, dann Kartusche gegen den

Uhrzeigersinn drehen und abnehmen.

- Bei Bedarf mit der zweiten Kartusche ebenso verfahren.

Niemals eine nicht vollständig entleerte Kartusche

wegwerfen (überprüfen Sie durch Schütteln der

Kartusche, ob sie noch Flüssigkeit enthält).

H - VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN BEI DER

BENÜTZUNG

Gerät mindestens 60 cm von einer Wand oder

einem brennbaren Gegenstand entfernt

benützen.

Schlauch nicht verdrehen.

Gerät nicht mit nur einer angeschlossenen

Kartusche benützen.

Gerät nicht benützen, wenn eine der beiden

Kartuschen leer ist. Sie könnten nicht

genügend Leistung für einen

ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb bekommen.

Vor dem Anschluss eines neuen

Gasbehälters Dichtungen prüfen.

Nach der Benützung zuerst Ventil "b" des

TwinPack Druckminderers schließen. Wenn

die Flamme erloschen ist, Regelknopf "a" am

Gerät schließen.

I - REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG

- Das Gerät nie verändern: jede Änderung kann sich als

gefährlich sein.

- Um Ihr Gerät in einwandfreiem betriebsfähigem

Zustand zu halten, wird empfohlen, es in regelmäßigen

Abständen gründlich zu reinigen (nach 4- bis 5-maliger

Benutzung).

- Das Gerät ausschalten (siehe Abschnitt E - Ausschalten

des Geräts).

- Das Gerät vor dem Reinigen völlig abkühlen lassen.

- Den oberen Teil des Brenners mit einem feuchten

Schwamm (Wasser mit Spülmittelzusatz) reinigen.

Notfalls eine angefeuchtete Stahlbürste benutzen.

- Überprüfen, dass die Düsen des Brenners nicht

verstopft sind und vor dem erneuten Gebrauch trocknen

lassen. Notfalls eine Stahlbürste benutzen, um die

Auslassdüsen des Brenners zu reinigen.

- Wenn das Gerät mehr als 30 Tage lang nicht benutzt

wurde, ebenfalls überprüfen, ob die Düsen der

Brennerrohre nicht durch Spinnweben verstopft sind,

wodurch die Grillleistung vermindert oder ein

gefährliches Entzünden des Gases außerhalb des

Brenners verursacht werden kann. Bei Bedarf die

Öffnungen des Venturirohres oder den Brenner

reinigen.

ANMERKUNG: Durch regelmäßige Reinigung bleibt Ihr

Grillgerät für viele Jahre in gutem Zustand, vorzeitiges

Oxidieren durch säurehaltige Grillreste kann verhindert

werden. Das Oxidieren des Brenners ist jedoch mit der

Zeit eine normale Erscheinung.

Brennerrohr

Auslassdüsen

Ein oxidierter Brenner, der problemlos funktioniert, muss

nicht ausgewechselt werden. Er muss nur ausgewechselt

werden, wenn die Funktion beeinträchtigt ist

(durchgebrochener Brenner usw.). Bei Bedarf die

Öffnungen des Brennerrohres oder den Brenner reinigen.

Grillwanne, Seitenablagen, Schaltpanel, Fettauffangschale

Diese Teile ebenfalls regelmäßig mit Schwamm und

Spülmittel reinigen. Keine Scheuermittel verwenden.

Grillrost

Der Grillrost ist emailliert. Zum Reinigen wird empfohlen,

zuerst die Grillrückstände mit einem Schwamm oder

Scheuerlappen zu entfernen. Dann das Fett mit Spülmittel

entfernen oder den Grillrost im Geschirrspüler reinigen.

Achten Sie darauf, dass der Grillrost nicht an einer harten

Fläche beschädigt wird, sonst kann die Emaillierung

abplatzen.

J - LAGERUNG UND TRANSPORT

Nach der Benützung den Fargo

TwinPack abkühlen

lassen, bevor er zusammengeklappt wird:

r Die beiden Kartuschen abnehmen (siehe Abschnitt G

- DEMONTAGE EINER CV 470 PLUS KARTUSCHE)

r TwinPack am Haken hinten am Gerät aufhängen.

r Fettauffangschale in die Grillwanne stellen

r Seitenablagen einklappen

r Metallhalterungen für Seitenablagen einklappen

r Kunststofffüße entriegeln; dazu am Metallring ziehen

r Kunststofffüße über die Seitenablagen einklappen,

bis sie einrasten.

Ihr Fargo

TwinPack kann jetzt transportiert oder verstaut

werden.

K - LAGERUNG

- Wenn Ihr Gerät vollständig abgekühlt ist:

- Die beiden Kartuschen abnehmen (siehe Abschnitt G -

DEMONTAGE EINER CV 470 PLUS-KARTUSCHE)

- Gerät zusammenklappen (siehe Abschnitt J - Lagerung

und Transport).

- Gerät und Kartuschen an einem kühlen, trockenen und

gut belüfteten Platz aufbewahren, nicht in Reichweite

von Kindern, niemals in einem Untergeschoss oder

Keller.

L - ZUBEHÖRTEILE

ADG empfiehlt für seine Gasgrillgeräte grundsätzlich

den Gebrauch von Zubehör- und Ersatzteilen der

Marke Campingaz. ADG haftet nicht für Schäden oder

Funktionsstörungen aufgrund des Einsatzes von
